Even though a slight exaggeration a valid point about puss weak sentences for serious offences. Commit those kind of heinous crimes and you give up your societal rights and should be punished accordingly.
I have seen repeat unlicensed driving offenders go to jail and armed robbers get immediate parole, go figure!

Well all after the fuss about the St George Raiders, the Warriors are on the verge of naming four UK signings - Wigan's Sam Tomkins, Glenn Riley at Warrington, Leeds' Jordan Baldwinson and another un-named Wigan player (possibly Tom's brother). The team is also signing a formal partnership with Wigan involving player swaps at U20 level, pre-season games, joint marketing etc.
Together with Bukuya, Townsend, perhaps FPN and the re-signing of almost every current player of note (bar Elijah Taylor and perhaps Friend (in negotiations)) the next season is looking quite promising for the Pommy Warriors.

From what I've been hearing the signing of Tomkins will see Johnson getting released. If they've decided to get another 3 in top of Tomkins 1 mil deal then I can see others released as well.
First I've heard - he is contracted until the end of 2014 and is firmly in the Warriors plans for next year. When the Tomkins rumour first came about there was some scaremongering that the Warriors were swapping a couple of their best for him, but this has been long-since quashed. Also no hints of this on the Warriors forums, which are usually on the pulse. So unless you have heard something further...

Story has been doing the rounds for a while. Tomkins on a mil a season and 5 or 6 other notable signings is going to see people moved on for sure. Tomkins alone is going to blow a huge hole through your cap that friend and Taylor leaving isn't going to be able to cover. Unless of course you guys are willing to play for no points next year.
The Warriors have been operating at least a million under the cap for a few years; no one wants to come here
& that was before the salary cap increase. I think the Warriors will have issues come re-negotiation next year, (especially Johnson) but this year they are finally using up what has gone unused for years. That is my understanding of their current status anyway? They paid overs for Bukuya, but market rate for Townsend + I believe Vatuvei's contract cost them less this year, Friend's will be downgraded if he stays and Mateo signed for par - I believe a couple of those Englishmen may be on lower teir contracts due to their age, but not sure.- Status
