Too early to say that thing again... That phrase been thrown out there most of the regular season but see what we have witnessed. 7 games with the Pacers now with the Spurs... And if the Spurs weren't that generous, we'd have lost game 6. And in game 7 Manu is the best the thing that happened to the heat... He should get a call from Arison soon... :)

Ha ha, the best thing about my 92% can't lose call is that you clearly never detected the massive hint of sarcasm.

I agree, Miami are growing up, this series is definitely the toughest one they've had. Spurs and especially Pop (even though I disagree with some of his moves down the stretch of game 6/7) were an incredible challenge and the Heat got through.

Lucky for me I loaded up on the Heat to win to soften the blow on this loss:)
 
Any talk of Miami not needing bush is just plain stupid. Big men are gold, rebounds, blocked shots, change shots etc...

It's pretty hard to get involved in a Miami offense where 95% of the plays are for wade an Lebron and the other 5% come off shots from their penetration which are generally 3 point shots.
 
Offload Bosh and grab someone like Josh Smith as a free agent. Bosh is not there for offense. Miami can who they please anyway.

Yes, but not on a team over the cap like Heat.

He is worth 17 to the Bobcats, but the heat can by someone cheap and save a s***load in tax and still get the same output that they get from Bosh!
 
bosh could be traded, he is a poor rebounder for his size, phases in and out of games and can look a million bucks one minute and plays like a stiff the next, they need a serge ibaka type player and another young slasher/scorer and maybe another tuff guy or two---someone like charles oakley...josh smith could be an interesting addition...take a punt and trade for demarcus cousins,....

No he's worth 25 mil to the Bobcats.

He's worth 20 to most teams in the League.

I know what you're saying, they can go get a guy that'll give them a dub dub for less $$$. It will be very interesting to see what the Heat do next year as far as their salary cap.

Serge is a great call but as if OKC are giving him up.

J. Smooth is not as good as Bosh I'm sorry. He does some fantastic things but his shot is way too inconsistent.

He would also command similar $$$ if not more.

Why would the Heat break this team up? They're just getting started. I'm sure they'll ditch a role player or two before they get rid of any of the main 3.

Yeah, that's the thing. I think a 'max deal' is going to be worth much less than it used to! With the lower cap it means teams like Brooklyn who are in real tax trouble because they threw big deals at Johnson and Williams and didn't get instant results!

I think the whole league will start to get a little bit more level ever so gradually!

TONY PARKER: I have no excuse. I'm not going to put it on my hammy and stuff like that. I just didn't play well. My shot was not falling. Couldn't get in a rhythm tonight.

Q. Tony, just what are the emotions right now for this team after coming so close in Game 6 and really fighting all the way to the end in Game 7, to just come up a little bit short?
TONY PARKER: Obviously, we're really disappointed. We had a great opportunity in Game 6, and tonight we did a great fight, but just couldn't get over the hump. That's life, sports.

Q. Tony, Manu was just in here sounding like he still was not quite over Game 6. Do you think that carried into the game tonight for you guys?
TONY PARKER: No, I don't think it matters. But after the fact‑‑ after Game 7, of course you're going to think about Game 6 and how close we were. One free throw, one rebound. But I don't think Game 6 affected Game 7.

Q. Tony, you were on the bench with 23 seconds left, and you guys are down by four. Manu commits a turnover in that situation. Manu said that Pop wanted shooters on the court. Do you agree with that strategy?
TONY PARKER: Yeah, of course. Of course, we're down four. You have to put our best shooters out there. I always trust Pop and Pop's judgment.

Q. Tony, in the last couple of games did they change the way they defended you, particularly coming off the pick‑and‑roll?
TONY PARKER: I just missed shots. I just missed shots. Just didn't go in.

Q. Tony, especially with the way you played, is this the most difficult loss of your career?
TONY PARKER: Yeah, it's tough to come so close. Those last two games are tough, especially Game 6.

Q. Tony, I know it's early after this game, but do you give any thoughts about this might be the last time that this group plays together?
TONY PARKER: Can't believe you're asking that question. It's been five, six years you're saying we're too old. I'm not going to answer that.
 
10/10 Finals. Thank you pop for handing Miami their 3rd championship Birthday cake. Thank you Spurs for respecting greatness. Unlike those Chicago pissants!
