No i havent but its getting a bit concerning isnt it, multiples of the other teams are popping up but not one eels either ???????

I am only concerned because of the amount of hassles associated with this release :)
 
I would get your pc Young Guns ASAP as I think they are only going to get more scarce. I think my estimate of $60-$70 was way off the mark.
 
i think thats all they deserve being not individually numbered. and the fact there is only 40 less than your average select tp

I agree. Cards have been out a week (in QLD) and since Monday in NSW and there are still Young Guns i haven't seen yet. Some of the prices on eBay are relative to Black League Leaders which sounds crazy....but if they remain this scarce then you can see it actually unfold that way. Besides, dealers have to recoup the cost of the cases somehow and the other inserts in this series just aren't going to carry the weight.

I never said people aren't allowed an opinion, just that I'm sick of the barrage of abuse towards ESP. If it's constructive, then it is a lot easier to read, and makes it more appealing to come on here and read what people are thinking. It also has more effect, as tak says.
 
Opened my folder today and the two packs attached. I got the 98 Broncos premiership card and I think it looks quite nice.

I opened the two packs and in my second pack got eight doubles... don't do this to me again ESP!! I did get a Chart Topper in the second pack so I guess I'm already beating the odds this time around :)

I am undecided on the look of the base cards. Some teams seem to work better due to the colour schemes. Also, the full bleed seems to make any corner damage much more prominent. I already have a couple of cards that will need to be replaced when I inevitably pull the double from the box. In some ways I wish we went back to the basketball cards from when I was collecting in the early- mid 90s with a border and action shots...

I do have a box here ready to go but unfortunately it will be another of my world's slowest box breaks due to only sharing a couple of packs a week with the boys... provided I can remain in control!!
 
And looking on eBay- is the case card combo the most pointless thing ever? Even though I am in no danger of buying a case, I usually look at the case cards as being fairly desirable- this time, not so much.
 
Got two packs from servo and got manly premiership card. Realised this is highest guarranteed card in that box so wont be touching box again. Tis a bit sad as selling for about $15 that that is most likely the best in 3 out of 4 boxes.
PS yet to see another Raper legend. Tempts me to purchase Johns legend..... wont be many completed sets if people struggling just to get a few young guns of certain teams e.g., eels let alone these 2

i think the fact that every album has a premiership card in it is why their value is so bad.
 
In regards to high end sigs from ESP, I hope they don't follow Select and just get the same players year after year.
Also I want to see some new players. Starting with Raper and Johns doesn't give me hope.
