Not aware of the reason why but ebay postage for cards seems to have doubled from the US to australia a single cards gonna cost you like $7 or $8 to ship. Anyone shed some light is this our governments genius or something going on with US postal service. Taiwan and Hong Kong prices don't seem to have risen.

The USPS lost 5.2 BILLION

Its a place in the USA so postage to your borderlinx hub is cheap, sometimes free depending on the ebay listing. I think you can get cards sent the for upto a month at a time.
Then once all the cards are there you can have them shipped as one lot instead of paying extra shipping on each individual card. Works out a lot cheaper if you buy/ship many cards from the USA
Don't have much insight in to this but a interesting correspondence recently from a US seller. He had international postage at $4.50 which I considered to be quite good. I wanted to buy a heap of cheap NFL inserts, about 15 cards at $1 a pop. Inquired about combined postage and he replied that the $4.50 was for up to 40 cards! He said it cost more but he covered that cost!!!
I offered to pay more but at checkout it automatically adjusted the postage to $4.50. When the package arrived it had $9.50 postage on it, so he was $5 out of pocket. If I'd bought 40 cards he'd have lost more on the deal. Can't see any sense in that, is he just a good bloke who wants to bump up his ebay status??? He'll surely go broke.
Anyway, I have found postage from US to Aust to fluctuate from around $3.50 to $33 for a single card. Who's gunna pay a $30+ postage charge? That's what you pay for a box or more.
I'm happy to go up to around $7 for a card I really want.
And I am taking advantage of Owen's offer to use his Borderlinx deal for stuff that I can't get shipped here.

First of all, for packages going out of Australia, the base price has no it changed, it remains at $2.35 for up to 50g. But they merged the next two weight ranges, charging $6.20 for 51-250g. So send things in separate packages if possible.
For packages coming from the USA, the prices have not changed, but the definition of a large letter has. According to Jason, they now consider our cards as unbendable, so they no longer qualify as letters, instead they are now packages which is like a flat parcel. This is on the USPS site.
