Yup, don't want to see top players injured but nothing can beat that actual match fitness. I get more worried when the trial is v a NSW or Q Cup team as they seem to want to prove themselves by knocking down the top players. For example the Raiders played a 30 minute half v Wyong and apparently Wyong went after Dugan something terrible, clipped him several times and as a result he had a slight ankle sprain. I would have been spewing if that was the season!
Happy with the boys tonight. The Titans posted a 28-10 win over the Cowboys. 3 from 3 in the trials. Im not getting ahead of myself though. We all know a trial is just that and whilst it does show form to a small degree, we all know Round 1 of the Telstra Premiership season is a whole new ball game.

The Raiders looked really good. If they can play like that all season they'll go far. The rain was shocking but both teams had pretty good handling for the conditions.
I couldn't tell what Fergo's injury was from where I was but he was able to walk off although a bit groggy.

I guess you didn't notice that it was viewers choice on Fox 3, if you pressed the red button you had the choice of up to 4 games to watch, 1 League game & 3 cricket matches.

This is what happens in most trail games. The players are replaced and moved out of there positions to trail new moves, positions and new recruits. These games do not mean much to me as competition games where full strength teams are fielded. By losing these games it puts other teams mentality in a different state

He had a few minutes in first grade near the end and didn't look out of place. He mad one big break which lead to a try.
He was also the only one of the 5 different goal kickers the Raiders used that got one

Ah the good old days. This is where the extended lunch on fridays evolved from where people on the take spent most of it friday afternoons before they got caught with it. The yellow packet was your pay which you took home and if you were on the take the lunch bag [brown paper] was to be spent and enjoyed. Shame on peter still trying to pull those stunts. Although a bit of corruption keeps the wheel turning. Its a pity we all dont receive the kickbacks from it.
