ESP NRL Traders 2013 Sneak Peak UPDATED WITH NEW IMAGE

I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back with some sort of "Unable to fulfill order" excuse for at least some of them.

The Legends are also incorrectly called "immortals" - I guess they were the working titles. Could someone with math skills tell me the per-box chance of netting a Young Gun? Looks like I'm going to have fork out a bit for a Blake Austin.

I had a look at the Ikon Collectibles site to see if they had the sellsheet (yeah, I'm impatient). No luck there, but they were displaying the ratios....

Ratios:
Retirement Series - 1 per 72 packs (1 per 2 display boxes)
2012 Heritage Jersey - 1 per 9 packs (4 per display box)
2012 League Leaders - 1 per 18 packs (2 per display box)
2013 Top Prospects (signatures) - approx. 130 per player
NRL Premierships (13) - 1 per 36 packs
Immortals (2) - approx. 200 per player

7 inserts per box is a little low for a one-box buyer like myself, but at least there's a couple opportunities for highish end hits.

One thing they have missed is the base parallel cards.

I'm surprised that there is more legends signatures than young guns, does that make the young guns the top insert as they are harder to collect?

Here's the sheet as promised

Here is a question...........I wonder if starter packs for traders will include signatures? If so, less available for boxes etc.

I like the look of all of the cards above, hoping i can pull a Young Guns sig out of one of my boxes so i can trade for a panthers one :) they are going to be really hard to get, which will help them hold their value at least
Cheers

The cards don't look too bad.

One thing I'd like to know, is anyone else sick of parallels? ESP ones have been the most boring since they are not even different in design than the commons, just slightly shinier. I like having one per pack inserts but would prefer something along 09 classic and 06 where they had a six card subset per team that were different than a straight copy of the common cards.

Been an interesting read this thread with all the speculation etc on ratio's etc. What I believe, is that ESP not releasing the ratio's etc is a strategic move to limit the amount of pre-sales like we saw with the young guns signature cards on eBay. I think that particular seller is going to get burnt and burnt severely. Also looking at the ratio's we have seen on the Ikon website it is quite likely that there is not a lot of money to be made opening boxes for single card stock. To keep people in business I can only see prices rising.

I have confirmed that Signature Cards (Young Guns & Legends) are distributed through the entire production run so they can be picked up in starter packs; that will only reduce the odds of finding them in boxes.

I second that.
Also hopeful of getting some fresh faces on the Panthers cards; Mansour, Robinson etc. Jenko better bloody not be wasting space on one of them!

But that just means less boxes does it not? The odds are based on per packet so it wont reduce your hits per box but it will impact the number of boxes they make.

I tried to tackle the ratio question from another angle by asking about the production run numbers. That information is not available for release........... :(
