Scanners - Which One Is the Best ??

Lexmark all in one x2330 cheapie. cost > $40 off ebay a few months ago. it does the job, but you get what you pay for

Yeah, it looks like both some Lexmark and some HP scan refractors pretty well.

Ok heres some various scans of different refractors, through different thickness magnetics and different graded cards on the HP Scanjet 4850.

The compare and contrast is the thicker magnetic, the 1/1 is the thinner one.

Canon 3200F on the left, Scanjet 4850 on the right. These are raw - straight out of the scanner with no modifications to them in Photoshop etc.

Ummm, you got urself a winner there. Check out the Dwight Refractor, that baby shines up REAL GOOD!!!!!

Then add shipping. It works out about the same as picking up from HT.

I would also like to know which is great for the darn dreaded, 03-04 Exquisite serial number scan.

I have a HP Photosmart C3180 and love it. Scans up a million times better than my old Cannon scanner.
I don't really have any refractors to scan but here are scans from my old scanner and now my new 1. The Cannon scan has been touched up a bit as well, the HP is straight out the scanner.
