The Official 2012-13 EPL Thread

Back again guys, sorry for my lengthy stint away from the site. Almost finished everything now.

Certainly an interesting start to the season! United wise i think there is room for improvement despite being top of the table. Defence looks shaky without Vidic/Smalling/Jones and my trust levels in Rio are still low, think its time to move him on now. de Gea is getting there but still needs to work on his aerial abilities and strength, shot stopping wise he is one of the best in the league! Have no problem with the midfield and forwards, loving the combo of RvP and Welbeck/Hernandez with Rooney in the middle. Should get interesting from now on in!

Had a funeral today for a family member and good friend. He was a staunch Celt, well done to the Bhoys against Barca this morning. Amazing result, YNWA the lads

Was a great result for Celtic...apt day for it Luke by the sounds of it... be great if they get outa the group...

Good to see u back Warney. :-)

you would have thought so. As unlikely as it is, i would love to see Powell get a start. Optimistic i know but i really think this kid has great potential to be a star. Want to see more of him and game time would aid in his development and give him a bit of experience and confidence. I hope SAF plays Rooney in the midfield like he did in the Arsenal game, made a massive difference!
Also, whats the massive problem with SAF's Diamond formation... i see no problem with it!

fergie has plenty of attacking options at the moment. think it would be hard for powell to get a start at this point in time with chicharito playing well. ive liked what ive seen from powell. also welbeck coming on from the bench. we've had a pretty good run without injury apart from vidic and jones. the formation is working a treat , top of the league and qualified for the next stage of the CL.

I'm predicting 3-1. Confident that the lads will play well.

On another topic, who saw the news about France Football Association's 20-month national representation ban on Yann M'Vila for breaking curfew? Bit harsh it must be said!
