I am sure some of you have dealt with this guy but hear me out and make your own judgement, his username is rarecollectibles00001 and he already has 45 NEGATIVE Feedbacks of a very similar kind.
I bought an item of him with a BIN, I asked a few questions about payment & postage - No problems, paid with PayPal and asked if he could confirm payment and let me know when the item would be sent. This is what I wrote:
Hi Steve - Please LMK when you get the payment through and when you will sent my item

The next day, NO - Response, now PayPal is instant so I thought I would politely ask him again, this is what I wrote:
Hi - Instant payment has now been made for this item (although I have not heard back from you to confirm it yet) so do you think you will be able to get it into the mail for me this week ?

Now guess what happened the next day - No response ! Now at this point I will add that all e-mails were sent through the eBay "Contact Member" so I thought I would test to see if he was getting them by asking a question about a separate item the next day (3rd day since payment). Guess what - He replied !!! So I wrote him and e-mail asking why he could respond to that question but not to my question about payment confirmation and postage date ?
Guess what - No response so we are now into Day 4 after payment, I ask a friend to ask him a question about one of his items......guess what happens - Yup he responded !
To cut a longish story short I sent him another e-mail on the 5th day (today)and requested his contact information of eBay so I could ring him......it turns out he had listed a fake number and non full address so I warned him to reply to my e-mails or I would report his lack of communication and fake registration information......NOTHING - All he does his refund my PayPal money and writes this on PayPal:
I cannot live up to buyer's expectations.I will just cancel his order instead.
And then tries to get a listing refund by writing this:
Unable to follow up on some emails(anti virus software probs???) & now cannot get item sent in time
for christmas.I think we should just forget the whole thing.Sorry........Steve
Needless to say I did not accept the auction cancellation because my messages were sent through eBay (e-mail problems was a lie) and he had been responding to other e-mails not related to my auction.
I know I send him a few e-mails but how hard would it be to respond to ONE of them - Even if it was just to say, Payment received will post ASAP !!! Am I being to Harsh here guys ???
