did you guys pick nike or jordan? i picked nike. about 8 games in with a scoring PG, averaging 21 ppg, 6 assists per. crap shooting % though!! i throw nolan smith under the bus, his a ball hog ahah. i love playing with the blazers though, me and LeMarcus be killing it!

I play my player as a pass first PG and I swear they have made it this year just p*ss off people like me. I have played the rookie showcase 8 times now and I have only been drafted by teams that are locked up at PG (Bucks w/ Jennings, Sixers w/Holiday, Thunder w/ Westbrook, Rockets w/Lin and Celtics w/Rondo) and the 3 times I have requested a trade I have NEVER been traded to the teams I request I, again, have been sent to teams that are stacked at PG (Clippers w/ Paul, Lakers w/ Nash and Nets w/D-Will).
Does anyone have any tips on how to get around this? Because it is so frustrating that I am actually playing my 2k12 My Player right now. I played 30 games for the Sixers averaging 9 points, 14 assists, 3 steals and an A- teammate grade average and I couldn't get past Holiday.

I went to the Hornets (10th pick) and I found it really easy to start.
Also with getting traded there is a way to get the GM to say he will trade you to what ever team you want, not sure if it works though?

2K13 > 2K12, no doubt. Online Black Top with your MyPlayers is enough to kep 2K12 collecting dust.

Don't forget Matty, if the teams you want to go to don't want you, then they won't trade for ya!! Get yourself some higher ratings, and people will want to trade for you.
So after playing around 9 games with my 7'2" giant, I've decided he's a spud, runs around like a couch with legs, no good for rebounding or blocking believe it or not! Even with a boost in ratings, he's still a spud. So I've put him on hold, and started working on a new 6'11" All-Round C.
I played the Showcase game, racking up 20pts, 12rebs, 2asts, 1stl & 3blks, A+, 2 fouls, no TOs, and a good FG%, I really thought I was destined for a top 3 pick. But when the teams interviewed him, I knew I wasnt going top 3 (Kings - 5th, Wizards - 3rd & Blazers - 6th).
I was shooting around 80% at half time, and high 70s at 3/4 time, but missed a couple of shots that I probably shouldnt have taken in the 4th, and pushed me back to 66.7%. Completely killed Anthony Davis' statline, but still got relegated back to 5th.
Haha, Well. As I posted earlier I got traded to Toronto, 3 games later they trade DeRozan for Kemba Walker, which almost made me cry.
So I re-played the Rookie Showcase one last time, this time as an athletic PG, and got drafted #10 by NOH
which is awesome because I only competition here is Greivis Vasquez and that douchebag Austin Rivers.

No need to worry about Rivers, he gets nearly no playing time and when he does he usually plays SG.
But...
On the other hand, Vasquez will force you to play SG or if you play PG while his in at SG and he gets the ball, don't expect to get it back from him
.While I was coming off the bench I tried to get Vasquez traded the whole time but never succeeded!
But you should end up starting at around 20 games played.
