EBay Seller of the Month

Thanks for that Moz.

I actually thought that they may go fo a lot more as it is very rare to see any for sale on ebay so i was a bit surpised at the final prices and yeah i know what you are saying in regards to Adonis as i have bought from him also over the years and he normally has real Mint cards on offer so i do agree that he may have graded these a bit high, though as i said i thought the prices were probably unders as i think the market has softened at the moment!
I would have liked to buy them for that as I have no 63. I think it would be cheaper to but a full set if I could find one in near mint condition. I dont like my chances. Adonis has advertised a full mint set which was debatable with some. Never the less that is the only full set that I have seen in that sort of condition on ebay. He wanted $18000 for the 18 of them. Which may have been sold around $800 a card if they were close to mint.

Yeah but if you send them to a grader they would not be classed 10/10. Im not bagging your cards, im sure they are great specimens, my point more was if i saw cards with perfect corners, perfect white centred borders and the cardboard was a little fresh looking my first instinct would be to call them restored. Pretty easy to trim those cards up unfortunately. Have seen a couple examples of it.
Trim as in cut them up

If I was a grader there would be nothing classed as 10/10 as there is always someones finger print on them no matter how old they are

Sounds like a bargain but it is really $686.27 a card......which blows it out of my budget.

Sounds like a lot of dreamers want to pay very low dollars for something that is very hard to find mint these days !!
Have a look what Adonis is getting on his average cards with biro signatures on them 3/4 of the price of my friends mint sets !
Keep dreaming fellow ozcarders

No i think the point more was that Mint 10/10 does not exist with these cards.

The cardboard used was too poor.
