Gday Steve I know that the 63 are hard to find than the 64. The 63 he sold are close to what you would want to pay for the condition that they were in. If you have a good close look the cnrs are damaged and most are slightly creased. They are in good condition for there age some excellent but what gets me when He users the term near mint to freely. A mint card does not have slight cnr damage or paper creases. I know him and have purchased there before but have never brought a 63 or 64 scanlens from him for that simple they are never mint. Most of the time it is the same player he sells as well. I have been watching his cards for 7yrs now. I have nothing against him he has always delivered on time and is a good seller. I think some of the 64 were cheap but that is what they sold for on the day, you can never aurgue with the market. It all comes down now to Les Johns near mint 64 scanlens card sold for $250 ear marked in somebodys statics list that sets the price for mint scanlens. This card is creased in the top left cnr and has rounded corners with the back of the cards moister damaged most of the way along the bottom of it. Is a far cry from a near mint card but could be recorded as a sold mint card, by someone with the lack of knowledge of grading and not studying the picture and publishing a average price giude of mint cards.
