Official 2012-13 Offseason thread - trades, rumours, etc

Mike Miller confirmed that he is back in the gym after an offseason of surgery and rehab and is eyeing a return to the NBA for another season. Weeks after winning an NBA championship with the Miami Heat in June, Miller had surgery to correct a host of injuries that caused him to miss 17 of 66 games last season. He averaged only six points per game in 19 minutes for the Heat last year but played a pivotal role in the crucial Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, shooting 7-9 from three and scoring 23 points overall. Hmmmm, nice read.

I think Chalmers is a very solid guard. Also can knock down a big shot. But, at the end of the day, he has Lebron and Wade helping alot with the ball handling. Let's not forget Mo Williams was an All Star when he played with Lebron.

Still, I like the guys confidence and he can shoot. Not sure he would say he's top 10 if he was playing for the Bobcats though.

As you said, he doesn't handle the ball enough - the confidence thing is great, and hopefully for him one day he can be top 10, but atm, he isn't there for mine...

Interesting that they're working together... Dream was with ORL, yeah??
So McGee (DEN) and Amare (NYK) are working with Dream? Wonder how that began?????

Great vid tho, thanks Matty! Dream was probably THE best big in the post, his feet and hand co-ordination were 2nd to none, IMO.

I do like the way that McGee, when close, doesnt lay it up, DUNK DUNK DUNK. Too many big, and especially athletic ones (ala Dwight) will take the hook/backboard love tap when close, rather than exploding up for the jam. 9/10 times they'll dunk it or get fouled, so why allow yourself to rim off and miss the opportunity!

Ingles must have impressed some guys at the Olympics surely?

Would be great to see him give it a go. Hopefully he backs himself and goes to a training camp.
