hey all, have to laugh at how well ebay have treated this:

purcahsed a card on ebay in the states...received it ok...open the package and the card has an obvious dicky corner, and i was charged 15.25 for postage..it cost him three dollars to post...
so i contact him, he tells me to send it back and he will refund it when he gets it back...i tell him that it costs my 20 odd dollars for registered post, he tells me to send it back non registered.."you can trust me" yeah right...so i ask for a partial refund, it cost me 55 in total and being ripped on postage you think he might be ok, i said 15 he said 10 max...i then said that isnt really helping and i dont want to leave negative feedback, he ignores me and then i tell him im leaving negative feedback and will report you to ebay for over charging on postage...he threatens me with extortion...lol...
I leave negative feedback and complain to ebay, they remove the negative feedback and send me an extortion warning!!!..btw the seller is a power seller with twenty thousand odd feedback, so of course i dont have a leg to stand on...just have to bend over and take it in the tailpipe...what rights does a backyard aussie ebayer with nearly 700 feedback have...none!!!...so you become a cash cow for ebay and they dont want to look at the facts...this is blatant favoritism...im done with ebay...

update...i have read the policies and procedures and have challenged ebay to state where in the following i have breached:
-negative feedback-all i said in the comments was: received damaged card, over charged on postage and dont trust this seller...according to the policies i havent said anything out of place!
-extortion-i asked the seller for a compromise and asked for a figure, not once did i threaten or state that i would do anything outisde the policies
and guess what, they have just ignored me...will let you know if there are any developments...

just received another email from them finally...and they dodged my question again! i cant get an answer to why they have done what they have done...except for this: we have evaluated all the information presented including the sellers history and made a decison based on all we have...that still doesnt answer my question...becasue they cant find in the policies anything to support their actions...taking this to the ombudsmen...

Dont get me wrong, I am 100% on your side here, but after hundreds of complaints from sellers about people that ARE extorting them, eBay has been firmer with it!

If you said exactly the same thing, but never mentioned feedback, I guarantee it would have been a different outcome!

I don't want to run into a turd that is making money on postage that's my biggest Irk , Monkey's charging $10+ for shipping then you see a $2-3 postage cost on the package.

have opened a paypal claim too...see how it goes, funny thing is he admitted to over charging on postage but ebay are ok with this...he is one of their cash cows...

He should know better charging $15 but using standard post the cheap douchebag ( to be Honest there are heaps of these Tight ass wannabes these day's and turned me off this hobby )

That dude buy's up all of Boyds cards and lists them on COMC , he also i believe had a dodgy Exquisite Buyback Jordan 1/1 Auto but with no COA and yet he still advertised it as Legit with no proof it was .
