With all the talk of sig pigs and other crap thought it would be good to start a thread to actually talk some footyand keep this thread going during the semis

I've got my fingers crossed for the Raiders to sneak in to the 8. I'm hoping to take the Broncos spot but will happily take the Tigers.

I agree on Barba. Slater was probably the only other one to come close but I think he missed too many weeks with injury.

I can't really see Parra getting out of last spot.
 
I reckon it is the Raiders biggest game since the 2010 semi against the Tigers. The Raiders beat the Dogs here last year so hopefully they can repeat that performance.
 
Who Will Make the TOP 8: IMO the top 8 will be rounded out with Broncos in 7th and Tigers 8th. The only change to this thought will be if the Tigers capitulate without Farah and Titans upset an injury ravaged Manly in R26
Who Will Miss out on the TOP 8: Raiders for and against has them out of the running, can't see the Knights beating NQ and Souths convincingly enough to correct their poor for/against, Titans a small shot at making the 8

This could go anywhere...Raiders finish with the Bulldogs/Warriors, Tigers with the Roosters/Storm and Broncos with the Sea Eagles/Panthers.
I think the Raiders are a chance in both games and Broncos should smash the Panthers in r26. Pressure on the Tigers with no Farah for 2 weeks...there team isn't half bad though -

Who Will Make the TOP 8: I hope the raiders sneak in the eight but I worry that if they play 'semi final football' against the Dogs and have a win can they travel to NZ next weekend and win a tough road trip against a team desperate to impress a new coach? They will need to win both to sneak in I reckon as the for and against is ordinary. I will be in NZ next weekend and will be going to that game so fingers crossed. Raiders in and Tigers to drop out!
