As much as I agree with you Ian, I had a thought the other day that sort of changed my perception!
If it was a Rookie, like Irving/Walker/Rubio etc, who had 8-9 EXCELLENT games, would you still feel the same way?

Lin is doing his thing, today he had another good games by the looks of things, 21pts 9 asts 7boards and 4 steals! Great numbers by a kid that went undrafted, cut etc etc, but the lost to NJ, yes I know my Bulls did too, but realistically, they have beating NOONE of significance in there last 10 games..... No One!
The kid looks like he is going to have a MASSIVE future, and I hope he does for NYKs sake as much as anyone else's, but the hype..... The MVP talk, people talking about him in the same breathe as Rose, CP3, Westbrook etc... Come on! Seriously, lett the kid do his thing, ride the wave with him but be freaking realistic! Unless your a NYK fan or a hype rider/lover (sorry to the guys that are!
) it is getting rather annoying hearing day in day out the same regurgitated crap, when really he's done what he has against the lower part of the league. If he can maintain it against the Bulls, Heat, Spurs, OKC, etc then, maybe, start praising him stupidly high like so many are!

That was only a real quick search using the Aussie IP site, so there could be an overseas application.
It is really hard these days to get a trademark registered 'generally'. Even like with Coke's 'enjoy' and Cadbury have the colour purple copyrighted, they only protect against similar groups of products.

This is a perfect spot for Lin, the Knicks and the NBA. It's good for Lin because it's one of the best stories in NBA history and proves if your in the NBA, you can ball. You just need to be given the right chance in the right situation.
It's the perfect spot for the Knicks because right when you think the season is going down the crapper, up comes Lin. The team is now winning agin and the fans are more hyped then ever. I don't think Melo is going to affect the wins, if anything he is going to help the team. Even though they lost today, Melo was getting the ball to Lin.

love what this kid is doing and he does have some talent watching him, great court vision etc....but it has become over hyped...lets see what happens latter in the season, he plays at such a fast pace that will he burn out?
i know this is a little different but remember the brandon jennings hype and when he scored that 50 odd point game early in his career, his cards went spastic and then....wish i had my 3 lin autos i have pulled over time...sold them as cardboard fillers for a couple of dollars each i think...lol...

I dont get sick of hearing about the kid, he is a hard working and humble fellow who deserves all the praise he is getting. I am already sick of the effects on ebay and the 10-11 boxes though. Wink wink dacardworld.... try and make your profiteering look a little less blatant
