The Kings aren't doing too badly keeping with the Bulls! I know Rose is out, but the Bulls are only ahead because they have been pretty good with their FG%. Every Bull has shot over 50% so far. Taj has 7/8 for 15pts!
Any other day they probably would have been in a bit of trouble!

Funny thing is, I saw the score when the Knicks were down by 12 and didn't have any doubt they would win!
I guess the win is helpful to my Lin's on eBay
I cannot believe the storyline of what is happening so far, amazing,love it. I hope Melo doesn't screw it all up
I have been focussed on the whole card prices thing more than anything.... until now
I just took a minute to watch some highlights and interviews etc, so now I'll admit it.... I'm a fan!!!
I still think the prices are just ridiculous and potentially harmful to the hobby! but as a player... he's the shizz!
I do think Melo will have an impact, not ruin it, but bring him back to reality a bit.

I fail to see how as a player he is any different to any number of guys that if put in the same position would do the same or similar thing!!! Yes, he is playing great ball, yes he handles himself well and lifts his team mates, but let's remember, his teams 2 best scorer's and 2 of the best offensive guys in the nba are out, NYK really haven't got anyone else to go to, he hasn't played any really good teams, lakers are old and slow and were coming off Boston in Boston the night before and finally he turns the ball over a lot and needs a heap of shots to get his points.... Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome performance and a great story but the circumstances couldn't be any more in his favor if he had written the story himself!! I really hope for his sake and NYKs sake he can continue this for a long period of time!
The difference is, Lin was 'snubbed' by Dallas, Golden State & Houston.... then was picked up by the Knicks, and has picked them up when they needed it the most!!
Although he has a lot of turnovers, and takes a fair amount of shots to get his points... you have to give him credit for the way he gets his points.
Today he got to the line for 11 attempts (granted he only hit 7) but it shows that he is getting through the lane to the rim! That is something NY has been lacking!
When Melo is back, he will get a lot less shots per game (one would think), and that is where his % will get exposed. But until then... I am just hoping he keeps it up (or Melo is out) until my Lin Autos sell on eBay

Don't get me wrong, the guy is doing great!! Not hating on him, just the hype! As for the highest points ever in his first 4 starts..... Who else was going to score those points for NY?!?! Like I said, he couldn't have written a better storyline then the one he has been given. It's great too see him doing so well after being over looked, but there is so much hype after 4 or 5 games,.... I'll give him his dues and respect cos he has earnt it in the last few games, but to be anymore then a player taking a gift of a position to be in and running with it, he'll have to do it for a lot longer then a couple of months and with his full squad to get the acknowledge meant from me that others are heaping on him!
I think the problem is that his 'value' has been disproportionate!!! I understand the whole, hype and prices going up, but to get it to a point where his Classics auto is worth well over that of John Wall, after just 4-5 games is beyond me!
I know you aren't a hater, but I WAS up until I saw a couple of interview and saw how humble the kid was and realised that it isn't his fault that the market is doing this.
What upsets me is when people can control the value of cards so easily! When people like D Rose have been busting their chops for a few years now and his cards are sitting 'on par' with Lin!!
I'll tell you why his prices have skyrocketed. With him being Asian, he has far more people chasing his Cards. John Wall might have a few hundered thousand people chasing his cards mostly through-out America, with Lin being Asain he as the TRILLIONS of people around Asia chasing his cards.
The more people chasing these cards, the more people bidding is what are driving the prices higher.
You are wrong there unfortunately. Most players CANNOT step up and be "The Man" on a team. Especially someone that has been dumped a few times and then dropped to D League. Yes he got lucky by being put in that position. But you could give another 50 bench guys the same opportunity and they would fall flat on their face.
But the money going in to his cards is stupid. People that spend CRAZY amounts on Jordan I understand. Because yes, it is an investment. But Lin could go back down to $10 rookie cards within the month. But hey, it's not my money.
