Hey guys, I won an eBay auction for a 12 pack box of 07/08 Upper Deck MVP, but the seller says he's out of them.....

He's offering either 07/08 Upper Deck SP (7 packs per box) or 'Skybox' (10 packs per box) as replacements...

Which should I take? I'm trying to get more info out of him about the Skybox (like year etc...) but yeah... what do you guys think?!

I'll let someone else who's busted this before talk about the box before I have a crack though. On the base side, I like it. Bright-colourful inserts too but not too sure about the $$ value of the hits.

My Friend Has busted it and he did okay but nothing to Great, But i would definitely Recommend the 09/10 Season Update because i busted it and you get some very nice cards (+ You may get some Blake Stuff from his Rookie Season)

Nah the base set ain't too flash. Both 09-10 and 10-11 classics are very solid, 09-10 being better I guess since Griffin isn't actually counted as a case hit. Instead it's Brandon Jennings.

I guess if you're after a nice set, Prestige is not the way to go either. I would say Condenters. The base are quite nice, better designed than prestige. The hits aren't too bad either with the Rookie Patch Tickets

What are you actually trying to do? Collect the base set + cards or get nice cards?
