Not sure what the Arsenal has to do with it, but in my opinion Liverpool are poor. A League Cup win may give supporters some joy in the short term, but it won't help an average squad get any better...

yep. cup runs are obviously different but liverpool havent had a team that could push for the title in about 20 years and that doesnt look like its changed one bit.
they sure are a good cup team tho. cant fault them that.

Congrats to Liverpool, didn't see the Utd game but over the 2 legs they deserved to beat us. The Richards penalty was a bit iffy but to be honest they deserved a goal for their efforts...
City have been missing Yaya Toure but especially Kompany....Savic isn't a patch on him.....

technically speaking the community shield/charity shield is a trophy so it can't be a trophyless season

Some big names have signed up. They like their trading cards in India, hopefully see a release to accompany the PLS, a Pires auto would be nice
