yeah skysports have made 2x parody/fake news reports so far (from what i've seen), they've got a whole team together to report on the 'signings' of Heskey and Rooney to Barca...

Full-time scores!

Tottenham 3 (Bale x2, Modric) Wigan 1 (McArthur)
Wolves 0 Liverpool 3 (Carroll, Bellamy, Kuyt)
Swansea 1 (Sinclair) Chelsea 1 (Taylor OG)
Everton 1 (Gibson) City 0
United 2 (Hernandez, Berbatov PENs) Stoke 0

Watched parts of 3 different matches this morning (as the United streams weren't working).
Really good start to Gibson's Everton stint, will give him a massive confidence boost. Tim Howard was really good i thought and Fellaini was good down the middle (when i was watching). Great win for Everton! Also thought Drenthe was going down way too easy early in the match and i counted at least 3 clean-cut dives! Poor form from the spectator who jumped the fence and handcuffed himself to Hart's goalpost!

Watched Swansea v Chelsea for a good 35 minutes and i thought Swansea were extremely good. Chelsea probably unlucky not to score earlier. From what i saw they didn't have a problem creating chances it was just finishing them and i also thought the quality of crossing was average!

Finally the United v Stoke match. Watched the last half when the stream came back up. Thought they were really good. You'd have to say the penalties were pretty straight forward calls. Valencia was good, as was the strike partnership of Chicha and Berbatov. But Paul Scholes, he was the creator of just about every attack. To those few critics out there, he's doing a pretty good job for United isn't he? Not looking like a 37 year old. As one commentator put it, when you have players around you like Valencia and Carrick that can run all day the use of Scholes in the side won't slow it down. He has the head and the eye and is a great creator, even if he doesn't have legs like the other players. Good confidence boost for Amos with a clean sheet on PL debut, also Pogba was awesome i thought.

Wins to Tottenham and Liverpool as well, heard Bale was on fire and that Carroll has scored his 7th goal for the club, exactly a year on from his transfer from Newcastle to Anfield.

A great night for United and my fantasy premier league team!

really impressed with the Liverpool win this morning. This is the typical game we usual lose or draw 1-1. Thank God Carroll got on the board. That will give him a lot of confidence. He still has a lot of work to do. Bellamy is def our best pick up this year. That guy just knows how to find the goals. I think the team would have got a lot of confidence in the last few results i.e. going through to carling cup final and beating man u in fa cup. Lets hope it continues!

done deals: zamora to QPR
cisse is back, hes at QPR aswell.
pavlyuechenko back to russia.
pizarro to city on loan.
pienaar back @ goodison on loan.
bridge @ sunderland. still only a loan tho.
alex to PSG.
united ditched diouf to hannover and the hammers picked up morrison aswell.

It sucks, he was class last season, and he's been sorely missed this term. Would hope he'll miss the Euros and come back fresh for next season, but he'd be keen to play for England I suppose, given the opportunity.
My home shirt this season had his name on the back, would've liked to have seen him play in the same shirt at least once in the season proper...

real shame. i like him and he couldve been pivotal in arsenals season. lets hope england dont try and push him back too early...as is their usual practice.

Newcastle over Blackburn this morning, 2-0.

Exciting Serie A match between Inter and Palermo this morning, ended up at 4-4 with Milito scoring all 4 for Inter and Miccoli grabbed a hatrick for Palermo!

I am thrilled that Djibril Cisse is back in the EPL - not entirely sure that he is the full two bob to be honest  , but I reckon he will be a great pick up by QPR. I will always remember him for his Champions League goals and FA Cup Final goal for Liverpool. It was disappointing when he went to Marsaille.
