Its OK mate..... Its finally nice to chat about my beloved Knicks in the same sentence as winners for once! Lets just hope they win!

I think saying they have one of the deepest teams in the NBA is a bit rich.
Chauncey has basically said for NO TEAM to claim him off of waivers or they WILL regret it. He doesn't want anyone else to choose where he is going and wants to make his own choice.

Correct, I thought when Novak signed he they would of used it but didnt as they waived Hunter and Green today meaning we now have a spare spot on the roster however it won't be possey and looks like if Knicks get anyone it won't be until march when china leage embargo ends according to latest reports = Martin or Chandler

oh for once, I sit here and say, hey, we have a chance. Its going to be a sprint to the end for everyone. No one is dominant. I see 6-7 teams that can win it all this year, it all depends on how they use the bench and how everyone gels. I watched the game this morning and woke the house up at the end. I haven't been that pumped sense watching John Starks hit a 3 back in the 90's when it was for something.
We lost Jefferies and Shrump last night for a few weeks though. SO its time to see some of the others get some valuable burn and get creative. I think the Knicks are as deep as anyone else at this point. They might not all be good, but I am still am not convinced that anyone else has anything better on the bench. When Chandler comes back from China, the Nuggets have the right of matching anything he signs for as he is a restricted FA. You would probably see Kenyon Martin before Chandler I hate to say. And I hate Martin, he has the ugliest tattoos.
I say stop the season now, we are in 1st place!

The funny thing is, Lin is the only other natural point guard on the team besides Davis, and he is hurt.
I like his game, scrappy and smart player, like to see him on the team for the year and see about next. Watched a bit of youtube on him and he has a nice way to seeing the floor and can pass out of the pick and roll, something Douglas does not do very well. Bibby is Bibby, still not sure what we will get out of him at this point.

Talk has started about Dwight Howard for STAT+ others
I can actually see this has legs since STAT was offered for CP3 from reports so the Knicks don't have concerns trading him, STAT also is from Florida (went to school and has a house there) so again more legs
From a Knicks perspective at 1st I was thinking this would be terrible especially with Chandler however it's clear Melo is the center piece for the NYK and Howard would offer not just a defensive presence but the post to guy as well which Amare doesn't really like and Chandler isn't built for.

Then you would be trading one out of place star for another. They need to get rid of the coach before either can be anything but a wing man!
