Got an email from someone who found me on a forum regarding Aus leagues. Have sent him the info, hopefully he's joined up in the next 24 hours cause we're still sitting on 12.

Alright, finally! Looks like we've got 14 locked and loaded!

Been waiting awhile to use that little guy.

I'm sending off a mass PM through Xbox Live in the next 10 minutes with all the info. I've scheduled the draft to start at 9pm Melb Time tomorrow night with a round interval of 90 seconds. So you guys have three options;

1) Log on live tomorrow night at 9pm and make your picks
2) Log in beforehand and mark your preferences. It's all straight forward
3) Let the computer deal your hand and just take what you get

Now hopefully Xbox Live realises that when I put 9pm on the 21st of June that I meant Local Australian Time. I hope so, I'm on a PAL console and my system time is accurate but seeing how I can't gaurantee it, I recommend putting your preferences in as soon as possible unless you're not fussed with who you get. We can always trade later on.

After the draft I'll mark Scotty (Taz_Cards) down as the other admin so any problems can be run through either of us. I'll activate the first round to kick off from either late sunday night or very early monday morning and each round will roll over each fortnight from that date. So there's a total of 5 games to be played each fortnight.

From tomorrow night onwards, all league info will be at the following address on 2kSports so if you're yet to sign up there please do that as soon as possible. Try and link your xbox account as well. That way you can make all the changes, trades etc from your PC that you could from your xbox. Not only that, you'll need it for the forums and to stay up to date with any league news.

I've pre-picked a couple of players, not sure how it works, I'm assuming that it takes my preferences before a non-preferred player in order of they overall rank?

I'll try and make the online draft, that way can guarantee wanted players.

No probs man, glad I can finally deliver some good news.

With the pre selections, I'm guessing the AI will take the highest rated player as your main priority at the time so long as they're available. I've got no concrete answers but I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Like I said fellas, If you're concerned about who you're going to get, make some pre selections even if you plan to draft live. Just incase there's a problem with the time scheduling.

But hey, don't stress man, we only got 14 teams so you'll be suprised, you'll still come out with a decent squad still.

Good point and thanks for posting up the list. I'll have that info in the email I send out to all you guys and I will stress for everyone to add everyone. Thanks to the guys already adding people, good job.

Kangawallaby is full? Damn I've never heard that before.

I'll be sending off something later tonight or early tomorrow morning with all the details to the whole league. Scotty if I'm forgetting anything or you got any suggestions or input just let me know.

Oh and last thing; I just did the math and the whole live draft will run for 4 hours and 12 minutes which is a little crazy. I suggest if you are planning on doing it live then just take care of your starting 5. That alone should take around an hour and a half.

Also a tip having done these before, start looking at the list of players in order of overall rank and you'll get a rough idea of who will be available each time it get's around to you, for the first couple of rounds anyway, after that it will be unpredictable with everyone looking to fill certain spots.

Drafts less than 4 hours away. Does anyone have any questions or are we all good? Log into 2k9 as soon as you get a chance, one of the guys told me that he has an 8pm start listed when you log in, this means if you're confused with the time zones, if you log in you should get an accurate starting time based on where you are.

Also, I still need emails from the following guys; westriot, ritcho35, drumii (ducky can you let him know pls). Waiting on 5 others through xbox live as well, basically I've got half the league so far so I haven't sent a group email out just yet but will sometime tonight.

Just pm me here or on xbox live, probably easier here.

Sweet. Think I might draft live afterall. The starting 5 anyway.

We've had one guy drop out already (RASHEEDWALLACEi - Detroit). It won't be a problem. The AI will draft the team and I have 2 guys waiting anyway, so once the draft is completed I'll be able to deactivate him and replace him tomorrow.

Who goes #1? I'm guessing LeBron, you can't pass on him.

Actually scratch that. Pistons GM is still in. He should have another copy by wednesday. Worst case scenario he get's replaced then if he can't take part.

Live Draft was great, just had a game with didak7, I got done by 10. Oucht.
Josh Smith & Yao Ming tore me a new one.

Gonna have to shake things up I think.
Lebron gave me 36, but I don't think I can use him... might shop him around. We'll see.

Yeah mate it definitely was fun.

Was that a pratice run or real game? Half way through ours we decided it was just a practice run so I reset it. For the record I didn't do bad at all.

Thinking of shopping Bron, for some reason, I'm just not real happy with my team, but that could be from the loss too. ha ha ha

Just couldnt get in a routine, and FTs were dodge, sucked it up big time.

Good to see Vince doing well, was that 46 points I just read?

I'm over the moon with the Carter/KG combo. Think I had 46/6/5 with VC but only 10 and 10 with KG but 0 of 8 from the FT line. Need to learn his release. I didn't go to him as much as I should have. Tell you what's deadly; VC and Jefferson out on the open court! Ran the break a few times with them and with Diddy in the backcourt aswell I'm throwing lobs left right and center, don't know who to give it to.

For now I gotta get some sleep. Three hour draft is hard work.

I'm up for some practise games tomorrow night if you want mate. Bron will be an absoloute beast once you learn how to use him properly. Hopefully I'll catch you online then.
