After reading almost everything on this thread i have to say I am a devistated WCE supporter......living in NSW shield me from most of what goes on over there but I now know Cousins has some serios issues. I hope he gets his act together REAL FAST !

I hope it gets even more devastating for Eagles fans over the next six months.

All this stuff would just about be enough to make a Brownlow winning, Norm Smith winning, Premiership captain want to come back to Victoria.

I have to say that I was very impressed with John Worsfold on the Footy Show tonight....he spoke very well about the Ben Cousins situation and all the issues surrounding his club.

First I'll start by saying I am very much a Dockers supporter/Eagles hater, and not a Ben Cousins fan. But I'll continue by saying that this goes way beyond footy and that seeing a young bloke that's such a great (dare I say, Hall of Famer) footy player, and educated bloke (Cousins was at Curtin University at the same time as me) go down in smoke is just a tragedy. Interesting to note Woosha's comment that this started becoming notiable in his behaviour/play since July last year - they did well to keep it relatively "in-house" for so long.

Big ups to his Dad (one of the worst things any old man would go through) and coach for such magnificant "presentations" in the media tonight, and you can only hope there is a happy ending for him.

PS. Wonder what sort of questions Michael Gardiner's current employers would be asking???

It is Tragic such a star has gone down this road and I would feel that way about any player who has achieved so much !
