i wouldn't buy until it was live. too much risk with these guys at the moment. i can't wait until then though! At the end of the day. I'd say they will do what every company that goes bust does. Start up again under a different name. I really can't see them going under though.
Can't wait to see some of you guys bust this stuff.
I would have thought that nearly everyone would have been placing their pre-orders through Sports Card Stores (dacardworld for example), so you would be chasing your money back from the Sports Card Store, not Upper Deck directly, so I cannot see it making a difference, except that there would then be a guarantee that the Jordan Jambalaya Auto 1/1 never sees the light of day, unless some disgruntled, recently sacked ex-employee pinches it on his way out, which would be so cool, not that I am encouraging that sort of behaviourwhat if between now and the release date that ud went into liquidation, would that mean all pre-sales dollars for retro be returned to the buyers or would they all be creditors getting 20 cents in the dollar?
Here is the checklist. Estimated release date 6/9/12

College unis suck!
wow...disappointed...only 40 cards in the pmg set...thats not good!!!! and no kobe...wtf....
No Penny in the PMGs...wtf!?
i realize that Garth and didnt expect much kobe/durant/griffin stuff in the product, but thought there would of been a base card and maybe parallels like pmgs..No Kobe would be because he's a Panini boy now, just like there is no Durant in the PMG set either
Also when you compare this release and all of their re-hashed old 90's inserts and compare it to the Exquisite Football just released which includes UD Black of which some of the card designs are just incredible it is obvious that Upper Deck do not care about basketball collectors.
If you haven't seen some breaks of the new exquisite football I suggest that you do. The shadow box cards and the interchangeable auto cards are unreal.
