Wolves Stun Nuggets in Thriller
The Timberwolves rolled into Denver on a high from their Texas domination, but from the outset appeared to be stuck in second gear. The Nuggets led by Andre Miller jumped out to a huge lead, leading by as much as 18 points in the second quarter.
In an attempt to find a spark Coach Casey gave game time to the maligned Troy Hudson, who hit a couple three pointers, but still the Wolves trailed by 10 points going into the final quarter - the biggest margin they had faced at that break this season.
Not sure what was said by Coach Casey at the break, but team leaders Kevin Garnett and Wally Szczerbiak came out firing, everytime they touched the ball it turned to gold and the Wolves ran down the Nuggets winning and stunning the home crowd; final score 86 - 81.
