Great trade the Washington, this team is building a nice roster.

better deal for my hornets than for the wiz imo as it frees up salary and allows them to rebuild a lot quicker than initially hoped... they may use the amnesty clause to get rid of rashard or otherwise package him up with kaman, contenders could use them both - never rated him much during his career
wiz have done well to get a good group of vet there now though, hopefully will be more competitive
the hornets unquestionably needed a shake up and the biggest salary problem was emeka, so good to see him moved on - this now gives them the chance to start fresh again by drafting anthony davis at no.1 and then building around him... re-sign eric gordon at sg, havent really had a really good look at him in new orleans for a long stretch yet due to injuries last season and then can look at signing a pg (imagine goran dragic or lou williams running the point here) or some solid bench contributors (jamal crawford would be good) in the free agency period, need better depth here... aminu seems like a nice young talent to keep developing, kaman not likely to get signed back up and in final year of deal so he is the logical trade bait - hornets should have some decent cash freed up soon... could become an attractive place to play ball pretty quickly with some of that young talent on board
a line up for this season, not brilliant but it is solid:
chris kaman
anthony davis
al aminu
eric gordon
jarrett jack
bench looks like this:
carl landry
jason smith
belinelli
xavier henry
vasquez
They can't amnesty him, since they traded for him after the new CBA, but his contract is only guaranteed for about $13mil, so they will waive him.they may use the amnesty clause to get rid of rashard
Alex Kennedy: The Hornets are expected to buyout Rashard Lewis. Lewis would become a free agent and look to sign with a contender, according to sources. Twitter

I thought Rashard had the worst contract in the league?
I reckon the Wizards got a Great Deal!
and if they draft Beal, the team will look like this
PG- Wall
SG- Beal
SF- Ariza
PF- Nene
C- Okafor
I think Crawford will start at the sg position.
Yeah, but they are going to waive him. Plus he is in the last year of his contract.
Not so bad considering how bad things have been for them.
He's way too inconsistent; if they draft Beal, think it won't take much for him to get the starting nod.
