Geez, alot of anger on here. I don't agree with the comment that "everyone loved" Lebron before he went to the heat. He was already dancing around like an idiot with the cavs, but it was bit of a feel good story with him being from near Cleveland and gonna bring them their fist championship. I did like what he had going with Cleveland though.
The Celts was a different situation in that their guys were'nt in their prime and looking to put a mortgage on the next 10 seasons in the NBA which is what Miami have done. If people are hating Miami now, wait til they're in the Finals EVERY year. Think about who's gonna stop them once Kobe goes and the Celts all go. OKC and that's about it unless Chris Paul and Dwight Howard team up.
The Celts also did'nt lead anybody on like the big 3 did. (Bosh tweeted "should I stay or should I go)
Lebron took visits from like 7 teams.
Also, no one cares that Lebron is'nt the next Jordan, because he is'nt. No one will be. Check that vid out someone posted, Jordan was so slick, nothing like the way Lebron plays at all.
I really hope Dallas get this series, but I still think it's Miami's to lose, gonna be a massive game 5.
Dirk has been tough and D Wade is taking over, down to Dirk or Wade for MVP for sure.
 
I chose the last option. While we are on the topic of 'buying' a championship -the same goes for English Premier League etc - Chelsea? Man U? Barcelona etc? The teams with the $$$ gets to buy star players and the 'championship'. I think it is all the same.
 
And the Lebron situation is very similar to Wayne Rooney in that he was from Everton and then ditched them to go to United. The fans hate him so much now for leaving.
 
I like the Heat as they're entertaining to watch. Don't have an opinion on the Mavs and not concerned who wins the series. Hope it goes to seven games.
 
I want the Mavericks to win the ring for Dirk, but if it they were playing against any other team, Id be supporting the Heat simply because the Lebron and Heat haters are really annoying..

They act as if what the Heat and Lebron did was against the rules, it was all legal and people should really got over it lol
 
Heat are amazing to watch. Mavs are the underdogs. I'm not taking either side, although I did vote that I want LeBron to win a ring, but I want Nowitzki and Kidd to as well.
 
Being that the Knicks gave up all there depth for one player (Carmelo) why don't people hate on them?

Because a) that wasn't exactly his own decision and b) that's not the topic we're on.

Soccer yeah whatever, Man City learned and Chelsea have been realising that money doesn't instantly buy success all the time, but again, they have loads of money and already have squads. Miami were simply thinking of the stars and then *oh crap, now we need a roster!*

So you can't read... if you're not taking either side why did you vote on the poll? It asks the people who are supporting Miami why they are...

That wasn't really fair on Lebron, Melo wasn't going to sign an extension with any other team, so he basically demanded the trade to New York.
But Lebron went to the Heat through free agency, and the really the only problem here was that he didn't let the Cavs know beforehand so he could be traded

True, and while I don't like Lebron's immaturity, that's not why I am hating on the Heat. He was entitled to make the choice he did, he did it without much class but so be it.
 
i want the heat to win because i have always been a lebron fan! my loyalties still lie with the lakers (fav team and kobe fav player) but want lebron to win some rings, i just find it funny how its ok for the celtics to "stock up on talent" but the heat cant and they are "villans" becasue of it! i think its time for people to realise that the heat are going to dominate for many years to come and will only get better also with another year together under their belt and the ability to improve their roster also...also whats "villaness" about taking less money to play together and they are making less money then players like joe johnson...and while we are at it i dont like the mavs either, mark cuban is a complete tool, tyson chandler whinges about every call against him and never gets a tech, jj barea has a face that just makes you want to punch him, if he was painted green he would make a great leprechaun! dirk is just a tall german...lol, and most of all jason kidd used to beat his wife! yeah he really deserves a ring, great role model that, and people pick at lebron!!!!

But seriously bud, bringing up that stuff about Kidd and his wife and your fav player is Kobe the date rapist???
Everyone needs a team to hate. Before the Heat it was the Lakers, before the Lakers it was the Spurs (they're boring to watch winning all them titles). Now it's the Heat because they have the best talent.
It's just the way it is. People (and especially aussies) love to see a contest, not one team that's clearly out in front, which is exactly what the Heat will be for the next decade unless some major moves go down this season.
I do totally agree with your Mark Cuban call though, super tool.

acquitted = the lakers franchise paid people off to get him off because they needed him to get some more rings for them! haha..

I like Dwayne Wade. He's not a tool, he's a great player and regardless of the Heat politics, he hasn't done anything wrong with staying in Miami. I want Miami to win just for him. Without him, I just wouldn't care if they lost.
