i am a pies supporter go to every match that is in vic, but really i don't give the Pies a chance to win the flag we might make it through to the 2nd round of the finals but i don't see us going any further than that. Cats for me and Port or Eagles to be runner up.

Wow, look at all the Port supporters come out of the closet....

I'd like to think the Power can do it again (this season has so many resemblances to 2004), but with the youth talent blooded, it is surprising even making the 8, let alone finishing 2nd.

Honestly, it comes down to how well the inexperienced teams play (Port, Geelong, Hawthorn, Collingwood, Kangaroos) go against the more Finals experienced teams (Sydney, West Coast & Adelaide).

As a biased SA fan, would love a showdown GF (Port v Adelaide), with Port triumphing, but I think it will be a Geelong-WC GF (and I also sense that WC will meet Sydney in Prelim fnal).

Kangas I agree are smokies, no one knows how good they are really. But the Pies? Come on dude, the rose coloured glasses can't even justify that. Not to mention that you'll have to go through Port OR West Coast away in the Prelim to get to the Grand! (Unless I'm mistaken about the switch over that occurs...)

Geel/WCE grand final...

I want the Kangas to win, just coz everyone has been writing them off all year but i dont see it happening, WCE and Geelong will both win this week to advance straight into the Prelims

thats my pick cos fact is only Hawthorn in 2001 made a prelim from outside top 4 which means even less likely someone outside make the GF....
