I like the ABC radio commentators. Same do with the cricket. They just have no BS commontary ABC. Not giving you useless quotes and bits of info that 7, 9 and 10 do with AFL and cricket.

When the cricket was on people started turning down there telle and putting the ABC radio on. But now 9 has delayed their telecast by about 2 seconds so people couldn't do this. I don't know if its the same with the footy. Might wanna check it out.

im not sexist or anything..but that female commentators is not a good idea. i mean it wouldnt be so bad if her voice wasnt so annoying lol. i think channel ten has the best commentary team on tv, but not on sarurday afternoon games anymore

yeh ABC Radio commentators are good. They make great calls and that and aren't annoying like some...............

I am glad somebody brought up this subject. I am definately not sexist, but surely football is a mans game. Women should not play it, and they damn sure should not commentate it! She is probably the daughter of somebody who works at the station. Thats the only reason that Samantha Lane is on the show Befor The Game. She is the daughter of Tim Lane.
That being said, as bad as the female commentator was, she was alot better than Dwayne Russell and Mathew Cambell of Fox. As soon as one of those guys are on I change the channel because they are the pits.

Why can't we have the connex voice lady commentating games, then we would know if our team isn't going to turn up, if you are a Richmond fan you would be told your next goal has been delayed for two whole quarters, she would at least apologise and she would have the same tone for every team and not one for everybody bar Geelong were it goes up 10 on the volume and love chart.

She's an absolute PIG of a woman who sounds like a 68 year old hooker who's been on 2 decks of smokes a day for the last 40 years.............

Her best for the day was "none can break clear" meanwhile Varcoe had already busted the line and kicked a goal! .......

closely followed by calling Hodge, Ling, Hodge, Ling, Hodge ......... during this period Hodge handballed the ball once and Ling didn't touch it and was a good 15m from the play.

With any luck she gets some rare disease that affects the vocal cords so we don't have to listen to this **** any longer.

Yeah its not right a woman commentating games, esecially THIS woman. She sounds like she 's trying to be one of the boys and Clearly failing.
I reckon Ten are grasping at straws here.

Its not the fact she is a woman, its the fact she is terrible and only got the job BECAUSE she is a woman.
