This year Jarryd Hayne probably being biased but he has matured alot and stepped up his game to become possibly the Dally m winner, where he has become consistent in every game this year and taken on his leadership role. But over the past years for me it would be Cameron Smith. He has been the most consistent player and he has been an influentual player for storm, Qld and Australia, you can tell when he is missing from the team.
May well be in 4 or 5 years (when 30-31) - possibly even a lock forward, given his size.
Perhaps, we put that down to some inspired forethought on Sticky's behalf. He is clearly ahead of the game...which will no doubt be emphasised in his 17 year plan for the Raiders.
Hayne has played good every week for the past few years. In my opinion his standard has never really dropped. It just the nuffies around him don't know what he is doing and this has frustrated him. That's why he always looks good at origin and test level. This year with the guys around him pulling their weight the other teams have more to defend against giving him more room. The only thing other teams have had to nullify at Parra since 09 is Hayne.
Even in 09 when it is said he only came good after origin is wrong. 90% of the tries Parra scored leading up to the first origin were either scored or laid on by Hayne.
Would be cool to pick one for each position, I think won't would be hardest to pick because Good Wings usually get moved in field or to fullback
Would likely be Morris
yes but Hayne had some ordinary seasons between 2010-2013, still had class but by his standard he was down. If we are just talking this season no one can argue its Hayne
