I think its about time card company's did something about the fake patch's, they should have all the cards scanned onto their websites, and people can check, they make enough money, so they can hire a person to take either individual shots or group shots of the cards....

I sent an email to Panini about this exact idea about 6 months ago. I suggested they just have a photo of every multi colour patch card as it is made so any collector could just send a pic of the card by email and they can cross check it and confirm if its real.
They can't make the database public I reckon, otherwise people will shop for the nicer patches and not buy the ones with weaker patches! lol
While the rep did agree it was a great idea, they said they are not sure if it is able to be done (no doubt cost reasons)!
They did however, tell me that they already offer an authenticity checking service, however it requires you sending the card to them!

Not saying this is where its from, but this week the players are wearing the NBA FIT warm ups....they have done in previous years too. the Logoman could be from something like this?
