Where is this patch from?

Nah, even the hardwood jerseys have a small Jerry West on them!

Is it coincidence too that the item location 'Guangdong' just happens to be the hub of one of China's biggest manufacturing districts! haha

lol have they started manufacturing giant nba logos lol

I think its about time card company's did something about the fake patch's, they should have all the cards scanned onto their websites, and people can check, they make enough money, so they can hire a person to take either individual shots or group shots of the cards....

Agreed! At one point UD used to verify patches when emailed pics of them. So a database must exist somewhere.

I sent an email to Panini about this exact idea about 6 months ago. I suggested they just have a photo of every multi colour patch card as it is made so any collector could just send a pic of the card by email and they can cross check it and confirm if its real.
They can't make the database public I reckon, otherwise people will shop for the nicer patches and not buy the ones with weaker patches! lol

While the rep did agree it was a great idea, they said they are not sure if it is able to be done (no doubt cost reasons)!

They did however, tell me that they already offer an authenticity checking service, however it requires you sending the card to them!

I'd actually be more concerned with companies with producing single color patches, they are the most likely ines to be faked.

Soft by them, always blame costs for everything, are you telling me at no stage when they're making the cards, they can't snap a photo of them, its BS, Im sure they have YouTube footage of them making cards and there is ample opportunity....

yeah agreed!! As the card is produced it cant be that hard to snap a picture, when they have made every card employ a couple of people to upload and sort out all the cards for authenticity purposes

Not saying this is where its from, but this week the players are wearing the NBA FIT warm ups....they have done in previous years too. the Logoman could be from something like this?
