Has anyone seen him around on any Aussie forums or trading card sites?

He wrote a blog post 12 years ago about this.

Was live a few months ago, but his domain is currently down. From recollection, he still lives in Melbourne and works as a graphic designer of some kind.

Yeah I'm bummed. As I said, it was defs live like 6 months ago because I was searching around for him after having the same card in hand.

Wasn't really a collector like us (but can't remember why he entered). Received a letter from UD saying he hadn't won and also had a few release forms to sign. He signed them and mailed them back. Months letter he received another letter from UD with a bunch of copies of his card. The assumption was that others hadn't mailed back their release forms, so he got bumped up the list in to winner status.
