When you are talking about the most collected player and a graded card, it is different, but as a general rule, an offer of $150 cash on a card with $300BV is normal!

But I don't think it is necessary to make a negative thread about it! People will always look for a bargain! If you want to sell on places like this, you gotta get used to it!

Also, when you advertise a card with a 'value' of $10,000, and openly say that you will accept $4600 Buy It Now, why WOULDN'T people think that you would accept less than half BV on other cards???
Nothing negative about this thread. Its actually good to vent it out from time to time.

its only listed at that price because thats what id let it go for, that card is in a whole diffent ball park to a $200 insert

lets be honest here, nobody likes to over pay for cards or get ripped off however when something is worth a certain dollar figure and some1 hits u up for as low as a 1/4 of the sale price its alittle disrespectful, not only to me but to the hobby itself, im always happy to negotiate a fair price witha keen buyer, but most of the offers are just plain rediculous im sorry

and futher more 99% of the cards i own are in pristine condtion or graded, i dont sell rubbish and alot of my cards ive had since i was a kid and kept them in cases ever since, mj card prices are on the rise at a very rapid rate, i would love to sell my doubles to mj collectors to help them build up there pc, but i cant be expected to nearly give them away, dont forget i payed money for these cards aswell i didnt find them on the street somewhere

Yeh don't think anyone's disagreeing with you on the issue, offers which are at most 20% off compared to eBay selling prices should be considered fair, especially on lower priced cards where you save a lot more without eBay fees, though the most important thing here is the security since theres virtually no chance of chargebacks and problems as long as you know do your research on the other member

yeah kenny very true and like i said im happy to sell alittle cheaper aswell but we have to draw the line somewhere dont u agree

really? im just trying to help mate

CBF means can't be f$%ked he was referring to listing prices, not your comment mate...

This whole thread, to me.... It's my opinion, is just a thread to vent and show off a little at the same time. It's a HOBBY, not a business to most, so you are going to cop low offers, you have to learn to deal with it and move on... Even ignore them, it works believe it or not..... People will try and save money where ever they can and try and make one on the other hand where ever they can. It's part and parcel of it!

Oh, and Beckett means STUFF all when it comes to selling, maybe as a trade guide, works both ways too. Higher and lower, everything but MJ and iconic cards are over valued to the teeth in Beckett!

yeah, if you got a minimum price in mind that you want for a card then give a price. otherwise people have no idea what you expect.
make prices negotiable and state that low-ballers will be ignored...

mate if u dont want lowballers on ur selling threads for ur cards put down ur price ur after dont ask for offers! Simple it works trust me :)
takes to long lol cbf
You get offers you dont like use them as a starting point, no use making a whingethread about it within your first week of being here. There will always be lowballers thats the risk you take when you list a card without anything concrete.
