I'd say be careful with this guy unfortunately. Not only has he changed his ebay name (redhot I believe is his new one) but I noticed that the prices he had listed on his for sale thread on here was actually more expensive than the cards he had listed on ebay.
To also fill people in as to why I raised this so it doesn't look like I just like to chase people and put them threw the ringer for fiun, I had been looking at one of his cards to possibly buy in a sale thread. By the time I had the funds, he had them on ebay. I watched the item and passed on it in the end as a nice Cunningham card had come up. After the auction had ended, he then came back to me here, knowing I was interested in a card in the lot I was watching, trying to sell for almost the same amount for one card, as the lot was going for on ebay. After I offered to buy 2 of the cards for the price the auction ended (the lot was 9 cards) he refused so I got a little suss.
I just wanted everyone to know. I know this stuff is rife within the community unfortunately, but we can point these people out and make their life harder
It's a worry. People are getting desperate or really stupid, too many "greedy" people. Suspected Shilling….a scumbag from this forum "stole" my Anthony Davis Immaculate Jumbo Rookie Patch…..Panini is doing their bit to ruin the hobby….fake patches….the list goes on….it's disturbing!!
have a similar story, and as some know i also tried to make a point choosing your words a little more carefully when creating a sale thread.
tried to buy the 93-94 jordan beam team off him for $20 as listed,
was then told it was pending on ebay but offered me other cards at much higher prices..
two hours later he had dropped the price of the 93-94 jordan beam team to $18... strange..
decided to stear clear of this guy.
I am wondering and hoping there is no other sad side to this story.
I have a few things up for auction and BIN on feebay and someone with 0 feedback has clicked the BIN on for my Elvin Hayes Gold Standard auto. Now I have sent an invoice but no response after a day.
I am seriously hoping this isn't him having a laugh at me by clicking the BIN and not paying.
Tell me - is a shiller just someone who bids on their own auctions ? Or also someone who has others bid on their auctions for them to raise the price ?

Most of the time, they will have a seperate account set up to do that for them. Generally with very low feedback numbers and generally bids only on the items of the same seller.
This seller bought some items from me on ebay nothing special then tried to sell them back to me on here at 3 times the price it was obvious as my user names are the same on both. But he was unde a different user name again
