What is your MAIN Hobby?

All you guys have socially responsible hobbies! Mine is a public disturbance waiting for a place to happen! These Baja's are fairly quiet standard, but with mine, and a ported exhaust system, well bas will tell ya, it's LOUDER than a trail bike!

Cant say i have to be honest considering my work and travel at times, i may invest in one of them...any idea that value?

Ahh nice chioce my man shoes. I've been playing APL now for about a year. Ive made it into the dandy tourney twice but never went. I'm playing on poker stars at the moment actually.

$1500 for the Baja, the standard radio sucks, I have $600 radio gear in there, and about $300 in upgrades.

Sounds a lot, but once ur set, it runs at around 1 litre of 2 stoke for a hour of flat out hammerin!

Chasing whatever cards I need for my player or set collections would be first up. (I'm the kind of guy who can go searching through 1000's of commons for hours on end and get enjoyment out of that... Pretty sad :p

In my mid teens I was right into fishing, camping and drinking bourbon :). Not much else to do in country NSW. Don't have the time here in Perth now, but I wouldn't mind getting back into it during the summer to replace soccer (which is probably my #2 hooby now).

Once I get foxtel reinstalled, that will take up a bit more time too, many late nights ahead keeping track of the different sports .

I'm totally with you right there Will. So much fun.

I don't really have alot of time to have hobbies, the cards are most probably #1 along with comic books. Also collect vinyl of certain bands and anything by the Beastie Boys.

My main hobbies would be playing the guitar, cards, watching sport and playing sports.

I usually play about an hour a day on the guitar which is a nice way to relax.

Cheers
Matt

Cards is my #1 hobby I spend money on....

Cheers guys.

my main hobby is Sport. Love it to death, play it all the time. Love the beers with mates after footy games and stuff like that.

My old man has greyhounds and i have just brought 2 of my own, so that is sorta a hobby im gettin into. Wanna eventually train my own, which i basically do now, but just dont have the license yet lol.

Cards are just a fun and addictive hobby of mine, dont have to do much, easy to store and are great ways to pass time after a big night out :) .

Thats anther reason i started a card forum :) .

Cards and sport are right up there next to each other.

Cards from topping it at the moment, but I play basketball sunday nights and wednesday nights and have played a minimum of 1 game a week since I was 10 (now 23 as of last weekend).
Go to the footy alot too as a strong supporter of Melbourne. Been to ~45 games in the last 3 years (including this year) as a MFC and MCC full member (since I was 20) and including the last 2 Grand Finals ;)
Like Shoes and a couple of others I am also big on Poker, used ot play online ALOT but have quietened down now I have a full time job and my girl has moved in with me :) Haven't played much in person, but have been meaning to try and get to some of the APL stuff! When I do play in person I'm not terrible :)
Uhhhh what else...oh yeah, my own little forest growing in pots out the back. In pots cause I'm not gonna live here forever and don;t want to leave my trees behind! Mainly exotic tree species but also 2 Wollemi Pines (Dinosaur tree found in NSW). But this comes naturally having studied to become a Forester

What do you write? Don't say "Mostly words..."

I gave that answer to a real estate agent once. He's lucky I gave him an answer at all, the scumbag.

Have you had anything published, or are you planning to submit anything?

I love writing. Absolutely love it; so much so that I can now make a semi-living off it. I was once told that if you find a job you love, you never work a day in your whole life. If I could just make a little more from writing (other than corporate policy, procedure and guideline document work, which bores me to tears, and at times, beers) I would be living the dream.

Nice to see a fellow writer on here. :)

Hobbies in order:
1 Sport (playing, watching, tipping, betting)
2 Cards
3 Computer games (wish i had more time for)
4 Siamese Fighting fish (great hobby but too time consuming - may come back to it)
5 Bonsi trees (not active - may come back to it)

Outside of work (which just seems to take up so much of my life these days...*SIGH*):

1. Definitely playing guitar and listening to music, nothing gives me as much pleasure.
2. DVD collection: im a huge movie buff, at one point i wanted to be a director so badly, never panned out though. so i just amass a huge collection of DVDs instead. my tastes run to all genres: classic 1930's film noir to japanese anime and everything in between.
3. cards and following the NBA.
4. hitting the gym (ive been doing boxing training for 6 months, nothing works you like sparring, skipping etc)
5. Video Games (im a rabid hardcore gamer, or at least i used to be when i had the time to :( )
