I work for the regional version of Channel 9 which is WIN Television. To sell the advertising you either approach businesses or they approach you. It sounds simple (and it sort of is!!).... but as with most things there is a lot that goes on in the background to get the ads on air.

I hear you there mate... I thought it seemed mostly easy... until I chatted to Bron about her job... my goodness.... the amount of times she's had to put fires out and done stuff other people and departments were supposed to do, just to get her ads on air (including the first ever TV advertising for Coke Lite in South African television)... I believe that there's a whole lot more to it hehe
32, currently partly unemployed, partly volunterring for NFP organization that I used to work for (before funding ran out and they couldn't employ me) and partly working part-time as a contract bookkeeper.
I'm a 22 year old Graphic Designer for the surfing industry. Really fun and cruzie job(helps when your the head artist so you can get others to do your dirty work), I get to deal with 95% of the surf industry. I work for a printing company that prints stickers, tshirts and decals, so there is so cool perks with doing my own gear as well as using the machines to print on canvas etc. I'll be doing a heap of stickers of your fav. NBA teams soon.
Im a 26yo Chemist for Pauls Dairy...Pretty boring job, but good $$$ and i work 95% night shift so i dont have to deal with management And when its quiet i can get on here and read whats happening as this one of the few sites not blocked by the filter at work...Not too mention we work 12 hr shifts so its 4days on/4 days off which i love
But generally it will. Eventually Systems Admin will find all your hits to this site (as most businesses have web logging) and add it to the filtered list.
I remember when I was at Uni. I regularly used to check/update my site (whilst I was studying Computer Science). Eventually I noticed in my site visit statistics that there was another person from that network who visited my site, and then a few days later my site was on their restricted list!!!
Was funny to see that they banned my little ol' site just from the number of visits I made to it.
