What are people's thoughts on using a COMC mailbox?

It's a real shame sometimes that they don't allow you to use the holders that the cards come in, instead replacing with their own toploaders.

I gotta say, I'm not too sure on this one, I've only ordered one shipment, and most of the cards came in top loaders, but two of them actually came in one touches, and one was a really cheap auto, the other was a basic insert. I can only guess that they might have shown up to COMC in the one touches (too long ago for me to check the emails with the pictures confirming they came in). I just don't know why else they would have sent those two random cards in one touches, especially considering much more valuable cards were just in top loaders, one was even just penny sleeved and placed among a bunch of other low end penny sleeved cards

I often get cards in varying types of top loaders and some are clearly re-used. I think they just keep what it comes in.

As a buyer love it, however the delivery times differ in a big way, for the same method it has taken me 1, 3 & 5 weeks to receive cards in the past.

Yeah I love COMC, so much easier and cheaper and it's an awesome way to start the day seeing the email that they have received a big PC item that you had won! haha
Quite easy to setup as well if you want to sell some cards off and that you can also send an offer price for all cards as a buyer...hate seeing cards on eBay that have ridiculous prices for BIN and no auction or offers!!!
With the not sending in toploaders or one touches I don't think that's quite right. They receive them in whatever they come in and send them out in that as well as far as I know...I had a sweet 1/1 sent in with a one touch and it was in that in the scan, I actually have that being sent out now so will soon know if sure!!!

Certainly an invaluable service for we non US based buyers, although waiting on delivery of large shipments with multiple high-value/PC items is always nothing less than nerve racking!

I think comc is a great place to sell $1-$10 cards and they usually move fast if you are the cheapest listed.

I think what @WoobieZarz means is, if you want to sell cards on eBay etc.

You send them to comc, dont price them on comc, but list them on eBay instead. Then when it sells, you can ship that card straight to your US buyer from comc. It makes your cards much more appealing to a US buyer when shipping is $3, instead of $21 from Australia.

That is a great idea, what are fees like on ebay.com compared to ebay.com.au?

Bump, quick question - if a card that you want say (eg $US$200) and seller only uses ebay GSP, do you use COMC mailbox for expensive cards?

Is there a limit (value of cards) that you will not uses COMC for delivery back to Australia or everything goes through COMC?

Yeah over $100 and I consider the freight costs v how much I want it "now". Anything under that will essentially go via comc.
