so if im a registered user for COMC, does that mean i automatically have a mailbox set up or do i need to set one up? if so how do i go about it all?
Not only is it fantastic to receive cards via, but if you sell cards overseas, you can simply send them (or post those you have sent there) to your COMC mailbox and list them for sale.
Possibly THE biggest improvement we've seen since PayPal came about (who remembers Western Union Money Orders?!?!?!).
Who remembers cashing in your money at Thomas Cook for hard USD and sending it O/S and pestering the eBay seller "Have you got my payment yet?"
It does add up though.
Ive found that when you go to request your shipment. Look at the number of cards you have BEFORE clicking next. Calculate (in your head) approx 50c per card plus the $3 base shipping price. Then click next.
It will lessen the shock of the total price, cos you normally forget that its another 45c per top loader for processing (which you would hope every card was sent to you in one)
For example. If you have 20 cards. Expect shipping of roughly $13, not just the $3.
I got shocked with that one a few times. Lol
Its still waaaaayyyy better than $7 per card from the USA at a minimum.
I think comc is a great place to sell $1-$10 cards and they usually move fast if you are the cheapest listed.
I think what @WoobieZarz means is, if you want to sell cards on eBay etc.
You send them to comc, dont price them on comc, but list them on eBay instead. Then when it sells, you can ship that card straight to your US buyer from comc. It makes your cards much more appealing to a US buyer when shipping is $3, instead of $21 from Australia.
Alot is mentioned about the shipping and getting cards over from the US, but is it actually a good place to sell from? Are people moving/selling cards?
