So I went back to Newsagent #2 from saturday to attempt to get the league sensations out of the box I got the Kurtis Rowe from...
Someone beat me to it so while I was there I get another 6 loose packs...

I'm assuming there's another few collectors up here. Haven't met anyone from Gladstone that collects yet but boxes and starter packs have been selling by the look of it around town

I'm sure the lady inside thought I was nuts

Wow!

I cannot seem to find a box in Brisbane that has not been pilfered. Every newsagent is now sold out or the box has been very obviously sorted through! As such I cannot seem to pull anything better than a F&F silver but ah well thems the breaks!

I think I may have to word up some of the newsagents to sell me packets from un-opened boxes!

Definately! This was the last box from this particular newsagency and the lady was pretty convinced that she wouldnt be able to get anymore.
If you can find unopened boxes anywhere at newsagencies it may pay to be quick I suspect...

Yep nothing like being the weird guy that hangs around the newsagent looking at his pictures of athletic men, just one step behind THAT guy that is in the porn section of the video store during school holidays whilst the kids are getting their copies of Monsters Inc. You weren't wearing a trenchcoat were you?

Awesome job on the sig busting. You are unstoppable. It's a shame Morris isn't a prop. I'll PM you in the weekend to work through any possible trades with your stickers, although I have been really lucky and busted almost full insert sets with hardly any duplicates. Lots of parallels though.

There's still quite a few unowned boxes in the Bundy news agents. One I went to yesterday had 4 boxes, one opened and 3 full ones! All out and just sat in the isle!

No the sigs I have found have been all over the place. One thing I did notice though is that in 2 out of the 3 boxes I opened with sigs in them; the sigs were side by side (packs 3 & 4 and packs 7 & 8). In the third box though, the LS was in about the 5th pack and the FS was in the second last pack

yeah same here in one of my cases but different in the other

I haven't busted any in anger this release (only a couple to feed the need) it was just the reference "had the box pilfered" that made it seem as if they were sequenced in some way.

I drove around 4 newsagents today looking for product to spend my $$ on
Of the 4 I only managed to find 2 Starter packs from one of the 4 newsagencies visited so here we go...

Wellsie, your enthusiasm for this product is inspiring. Well done and keep up the good work. I'm still not 100% taken by this release, but I'm sick of not buying footy cards so I'm all in. My biggest issue is that I haven't seen one single starter pack anywhere. Every place I've bought packs have told me they only had a few to start with and haven't received any more!!

i;m In the same Boat over a 100 klm radius i have found 2 starter packs and that was 2 days after the release and nothing ever since.
So i got sick off looking and just ordered some more boxes.

I guess if I saved all the $$ I spent on packs and brought the sigs I'm chasing it would be cheaper but I miss busting packs! Even the offseason when there is nothing released I start looking for different sports or non sports stuff to bust or I buy older boxes if I can find them.
I know I should be spending that money on my PC but there is something about busting that gives you a thrill, especially when you nail a sig etc.
I have been pretty fortunate in busting plenty of cool hard to find stuff over the years so I guess that inspires me to keep on busting

I agree Wellsie. I think I could have all but completed the high end inserts I need for my Raiders PC but I love busting boxes so much (centenary especially) I just spend my 'card money' on them. Ah well it is alot of fun!!
