AndrewG23 - Thanks man
Yeah, they made that card extra special. Jersey numbered and 3 colours, very, very rare.
Nash13 - Thanks bud
He sure is, not many people give you 2 times $2.2kUS cards
wall3ace - Thanks bud :-D Ha ha ha ha I knew you would.
CAN'T FLY - Thanks bud, it sure is.
With coinsman owning just about all the Kobes, and a few player collectors with multiples, there isn't much chance for many sets out there. And from the debut year, I am very happy
wolvesjr34 - Thanks bud Would they be wolves players ;-)
nandalinnaung - Thanks, yeah, it sure is
jayzhou23 - :-D Ha ha ha How could I have guessed?!
The melo, yeah, Upperdeck didn't stick on the fabric very smoothly.....
I have seen a few like that, the Melo seems to be the worst.
If you stare really closely ate the Ray Allen, it's the same, just not as bad.
scottsophie - Thanks bud.
Yeah, never evene went after the set from the start.
Then, gave it up when I realised coinsman exists.
Then, Tim gives me those 2 amazing Kobes.
Next thing you know, I finished it.
outstanding effort Mike on finishing the 03-04 extra exquisite set, from what i could tell some of those cards where going for crazy prices on ebay - mainly the Kobe card.
bravo mike that is one awesome set of cards.i bet you thought that you would never finish it.thanks for sharing and keep showing us your amazing sets.
tony
andrew3134 - Yes, the Kobes were out of this world.
A lot of people started jumping on this set as time went on, till everyone realised that coinsman existed. Which is a real shame, as there are many unfinished sets out there, and many have already broken them up and have given up. The prices are still very high, though, with the debut year, it will always hold a premium over other years. I can't see the price situation getting much better, especially if this years product turns into a sticker feast.
tony - Thanks bud
Yeah, i really didn't look forward to paying $2.2KUS for 1 Kobe card, little lone 2..... Even if I didn't get the Kobes, I would have still been very happy to get so far, I only set out for 50% of the run. But with the help of some amazing people in the hobby, I did it
Yeah, so is another big ZO collector I know too. I'm so not impressed on how a fully tracked and insured item doesn't turn up. It was supposed to sit with my other 2 jersey numbered cards, and I paid a mint for that Bird to go with it. What's worst, is it was with 2 other EE's, and ended up costing me a heap more to get them replaced. Because as time went on, people kept jumping on the EE bandwagon, and the prices have still continued to rise. But the jersey numbered thing is still giving me the pips, even till this day :-(
I'm sure it will re-surface someday, somewhere down the track. I will find it again, I have so many people watching for me ;-)
