WARNING "DEFINATE SCAMMER" ON EBAY

wanker sold the cherry evans for $123.40 to some poor person
i messaged this person over past couple of days with no reply
these type of people make me sick  they are a cancer on our wonderful hobby
but lucky we have good people like dr grange and owen around thanks guys

I think you will find he ended the item which means no one will have to pay.

I sent him a message not long before he ended them calling him out on where he got the image from. He must have realised the scam was up and pulled them.

I would have done Exactly the same, Re asking for more pics, But by ebay law You should have asked before bidding, Now he can put a non paying claim in

Hmm. So just for my own interest did the auction actually end as normal or did he end the auction with the sale going to the highest bidder?

The reason i thought he must have pulled it is because the listing says "ended by the seller'. Usually it just says "bidding has ended".

Well done Owen the more of these scumbags we can stop the better for everyone.
But sadly he will most probably try again with other items( not cards) in the next few months.:red:

All items ended at roughly the same time, hope it's not a scam for the buyers involved.

If the buyers are smart they will pay with Paypal & be covered & Paypal will have bank details of the seller if he tries to claim the funds. Then all the buyer will leave NEG feedback so he will have to open-up a new account & hopefully he will slip-up somewhere & they can take him to the cleaners or better still charge him.
The only good thing is no one paid anywhere near what the scammer was hoping for.

I would like to think any person with common sense will put all the peices together to work out something is very fishy BEFORE paying a dime!
