UPDATED - Tap 'N' Play Brett Lee Commemorative Auto Jersey Card - Sneak Peek

Had an email from Neil at Tap 'N' Play earlier today sharing some images of the Brett Lee Commemorative Auto Patch card which will be for sale soon via Tap 'N' Play and selected trading card retailers.

This was from an earlier announcement:

Earlier this year Australian (and International) Cricket Superstar Brett Lee announced his retirement from the game at the conclusion of the BBL04 season.

While the Sydney Sixers were narrowly defeated by the Perth Scorchers in the BBL04 Grand Final, Lee's final over of the game (which included 2 wickets) will forever be remembered by cricket fans.

Lee was in outstanding form for the Sixers across the entire BBL04 tournament, where he ended up with 13 wickets and a best bowling performance of 3/25.

Tap 'N' Play are excited to announce that we recently took delivery of one of Brett's match worn Sydney Sixers shirts from the recently completed BBL04 season.

Tap 'N' Play has obtained this match worn shirt directly from Brett and we have some exciting plans in the works for this shirt in our upcoming releases.

I understand that the card will retail for $149.95 and be limited to 150 cards.

It will be signed and the match worn jersey is from the BBL Semi Final vs the Adelaide Strikers.

I also believe that some of this jersey material will be included in another card in the next BBL release.

Tap 'N' Play previously announced that we were able to obtain one of Brett's match worn Sydney Sixers shirts from the BBL04 season to be used in our upcoming products.

We can now share with you the information on the release of a very special Brett Lee commemorative card.

This card will be signed by Brett and feature a piece of the shirt he wore in the BBL04 Semi Final against the Adelaide Strikers earlier this year.

The card will be foil stamped, limited to 150 copies and retail for $149.99.

This landmark card will be available in June from Tap 'N' Play and authorised Tap 'N' Play resellers.

This is what we have been crying out for for ages. They look spectacular! Here's hoping they include something similar in the 2015/16 Tap N play release.

If these were in packets they would double their sales from last year.

Here's hoping we get an earlier release this season with the 2015/16 cards. January is WAY to late for a Cricket release. Cards looked great though and I am sure with the inclusion of signatures and or game used cards this seasons release will be even better.
