Well fellas, after 2 years of searching high and low for this 07-08 Ultimate Leadership set, I received the 20th and final auto in the set yesterday - Magic Johnson:

This takes me to 78/80, and needing only Magic Johnson GU /99 and Larry Bird patch /25 to wrap up all 4 versions (80 cards) of the 20 primary players.

But the autos were the main reason for starting this chase - and to finally have all 20 in hand is a superb feeling.

So here are pics of all 20 autos - with a nice group shot at the end!!

Enjoy!!

Thanks for looking! :kick:

Super effort Bradley. One thing I always liked about these which you've shown in your pics is the cool patterns they make when joined together. Can't wait to see them all once you get the last 2.

Stunning:woot: Thats an awesome achievement Brad. How long ago did you start collecting this set?

Well done mate, super effort

Absolute quality!!!

Hard to find an auto set (other than exquisite) that has nothing but All Stars and HOF'ers (although I don't know how Hinrich snuck in there)

Thanks for the pics. Man hold on to that set.

Thanks guys, 2 years it has taken me - although the last 6 months has been a very slow road. It would have been so much easier had I started the chase when the set came out in 2007-08 instead of in Feb 2010.

The star power in this set was certainly the big drawcard along with the stunning design. I remember first seeing the Jordan auto (Nick aka verse1 had it) and I loved it. I looked at the checklist and thought "this set is incredible, I have to have them all!!".

The two surprise omissions who I thought would have been in this set (given they sign very frequently) are Drexler and Olajuwon. Those two, along with Bill Russell, would have been sweet -and throw in Pippen and that would have truly made it the ultimate leadership set.

Been following your progress Brad and know it's been a long haul - well done on the set completion! I must say though I did a double take seeing all those great names and players and then seeing Kirk Hinrich jammed in there as well!

Skip, the Hinrich is likely to be a 1/1 - the other 24 are surely stuck in kids' BMX spokes across America!

Also filthy they didn't throw Durant in this set - I know he was a rookie and therefore not an "Ultimate Leader", but bend the rules dammit! He appeared in most of the other 07-08 Ultimate subsets that they could have slipped him in ahead of Captain Kirk :(
