I just checked 'my ebay' I have spent $2691.83 in the last 60 days!!!
Definately have to make sure the missus doesn't see that!! :razz:

I was expecting boxes to be over $200 any way so no worries. Just make sure u delete ur won items then she wont know :) very happy with my day today picked up a buffer, florian numbered gear cards to 199 both less than $20, gonzaga red ink auto $45 and a full fight poster set for $30!!! wanted the griffin and florian red ink autos as well run out of money though :(

awsome on the griffin the one i picked up was $2 more than urs thought it was a steal... Hey siege the un numbered relics and autos how many of them where made do u know? i know they have numbered 199, 88, 8, 1 ect but the regular ones how many of them where made of each?

If you knew how many boxes/cases they made then you could work it out roughly.

Also if you got a Forrest Griffin auto for less than $40 US then it was a great deal!!
If you got it for less than $30 US then it was definately a steal! :)

Be aware that if you buy a retail box of series 2 ufc it has only one hit in 24 packs.
A hobby box has 4 hits in 16 packs.

There are some really cheap retail boxes on Ebay at the moment so make sure you check before bidding!!!
 
Postie arrived today with a nice forrest griffin auto and dan henderson auto from round 2. delivered from the states at a combined price of 60 dollars us. A dead set steal.

I wonder whats happening with this series, seems to be very cheap. Not as much demand? or maybe a lot more cards produced then the first series, satisfying the demand?

Ive also got a griffin auto (blue) from round 1 on the way at under 100. I remeber seeing some go for over 150 not so long ago.

Either way im addcited. Now, time to spend more money...........

The autos from the first set were very cheap at first.
Most of them started at less than $10, apart from a few of the top names obviously.
Didn't take too long for the prices to sky rocket.
Series 2 stuff is more expensive today than it was this time last week.
Looks like it is allready starting to climb.
 
Does anyone else know of any other sources for individual cards other than ebay? Sites like this forum for instance. I know theres buymmacards.com but they are ridiculously pricey

I have noticed as well that prices have gone up since last week i guess it just depends on demand and what time auctions finish sometimes u can get mat relics for $2-10 other times very similar cards sell $10-20. Something i think may be a factor is the cheap cards less known names are selling very cheap right now as most of the bigger collectors are trying to fight over and snap up the big autos once they dry up the lower end will raise in value. ie the 2 autos i got in my box i could have bought both for $15us last night. The lesnar, slice, st pierre cards are selling for big $$$

I also find it hard to believe some of the red ink autos are selling for $50 there about i picked up the gonzaga for $45 these cards are ltd to 25 the afl last year released cards ltd to 100 and even the sh*t players where selling for $100
 
At the moment, im just trying to collect the insert sets, with the odd auto and relic thrown in if i can get it cheap.

Been getting the majority of the inserts for 99 cents each.

Havent got the funds to get the big name autos/relics at the moment. Although did pick up the Liddell relic for about 6 bucks.
 
If anyone sees a Nogueira/Mir Dual Auto Relic anywhere please let me know. Even if its just off a box break on youtube or a forum or whatever. I must have that card.

(Not including the case). I might be able to help if you are chasing any later on, I have several doubles.
 
Got a bid going on a Jon Jones auto. That has to be as close to a rookie card as there is for any UFC fighter. The guy will be a star.

I have a fair few that will be doubles on the way just been getting anything cheap will be happy once i have them and sort them to use them as trade if anyone needs them

Well he is the best prospect at 205 in the UFC right now. Freak athlete, awesome wrestler and picking up striking big time. If Machida wasnt so freaking awesome i would say he would be champ in future. But i dont think anyone can beat Machida until he gets old or just retires.
 
pretty happy with a franklin auto for $13.48 and quarry mat relic $2.78

also my lesnar, stpierre and liddell patch cards arrived today will scan them tonight. How do i add the scans onto here?
 
You can use 'photobucket' thats what I do.
Upload stuff to photobucket, then use the pictures 'img' code (that photobucket gives you) to display them here.
You copy and paste the img code into your post.
