Topps Premier Gold 2013-14

Futbol_cards, what has been noticed by members in the social media community is your moving on of threads on Forums which alert errors or shortcomings on Topps cards (only Topps cards) without any contribution to the content yourself. What's been alerted to collectors is that you've put efforts into creating a dedicated website which are anti-other publisher and doing an SEO job using links into your negative activities for google images and word searches, why would you do that? Not the behaviour of a normal collector. Seems a bit on the dark side...
If you genuinely care about the hobby you'd be joining discussions on aspects good and bad on a variety of cards but you're not doing that, it's like you're manipulating forums into some sort of campaign.
You have avoided previous comment on this recently released Topps Pele Game Worn memorabilia card, if this was released by Futera you would have had plenty to say.

Topps is a specialist company on these matters, is it reasonable to mistake a 2007 replica jersey with pre 1971 Pele Game Worn jersey for around a 1,000 cards? Is this a Topps issued fake?
What are your thoughts on this Topps Pele Game worn memorabilia card? If you're a genuine member interested in card collecting and curious about errors or issues that affect all collectors, then I'd welcome your contribution on this topic not just here but on your other social media outlets

-----------

I don't see how I've been 'moving on' Topps topics as if was on some kind of pro-Topps campaign as you suggest. Unlike others in the social media community, who seem to be in damage control mode, I have no pro-ANY manufacturer agenda. There is one discussion I joined on Card Board Connection in which there was a guy(s) bashing Topps' previous upmarket soccer collections with off base comments. One of the fellas on there stated that serious soccer collectors are turning to Futera (LOL), another was comparing MLS card values with Premier League (apples & oranges) and another went as far as to say that the highest valued autograph, in Gareth Bale, was going for $9 which goes to show how much he "knows." I went in to comment how they were well off the mark on that particular CBC thread but that is far from my only contribution on card forums.

Concerning my blog (which I've somewhat lost interest in), it is certainly not dedicated to being "anti-other publisher" but merely a spot for me to post my thoughts on the soccer card hobby. A hobby of which a shady company like Futera is a large part of, especially for higher-end cards. I hardly think calling out and posting comparison images of likely fake autographs is a "bit on the dark side." An uninformed collector would likely find that kind of info useful so I reckon only someone with a pro-Futera agenda would see warning collectors of unscrupulous manufacturers as a "dark" thing.

As for your next points, you have clearly not looked through my postings out there properly, not a hard thing to do BTW. Or you simply neglected those posts because they don't fit in with your erroneous claims. Either way, if you had done you would see that I am in fact active on a various footie card forums, discussing the good and bad on a variety of cards. Also, the notion that I avoided comment on the Pelé card because it'a Topps card is another fallacy on your part. I only became aware of the issue with that Pelé card little over a week ago I already commented on it as well on the CBC forum I referenced earlier.

Sorry about the off topic comment but I was mentioned by name so I felt the need to respond.

Round 2 ... the red corner have come out fighting ... Again.
Hello, not the same position signing on cards, look on ebay, then you know this knowledge is ridiculous. The Topps picture is of 4 guys only signing something that no one can see exactly what it is, smoke and mirrors Topps.
Topps use same blue pen on all the cards, so based on the above claim those Topps cards are Fake. It is well known that Topps sends out a package of sticky tape sheets, pens, instructions and return envelope to many of the players.
Much prefer transparency of being told where and when autograph is signed, and a publisher signs off on the authenticity of those on-card signed cards, glad I Have not wasted money on 99 cents Topps sellotape autographs http://www.ebay.com/itm/261369752001?ru=http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=261369752001&_rdc=1.

At least that Topps sticker auto is most likely real which is more than can be said about Futera.

Lol. Excellent posts there Fernando.

Anyone who was around in the mid 90's and saw the dodgy practices and trail of destruction Futera left here in Australia would know how these guys operate. They dont keep moving countries for the weather.

Tim Howard JSA authenticated auto 2 - LOL!

JSA is one of the worlds top autograph authentication providers....but Futbol_ cards will say they are fake as well.

Going with your Futbol_cards reasoning, this Topps Benteke autograph card must be a fake because it looks nothing like the others.

Ah geez. I thought this was done with. F$&@ me, can something be done about this? SERIOUSLY!!

OK, if I may try to somewhat get this thread back on track - The seller has agreed to refund me and I will send the card back to him and he will send it back to Topps. So whilst a gigantic pain in my arse and a waste of time, no harm done. In other news , one of my Ashley Young /50 Gold autos arrived today at my PO Box and it is mint. These are nice cards in hand. Will post a pic once more arrive.
BTW - Gave you lot a yellow card the other day for effing about. I am making a new thread dedicated to you all. You'll find it if you look for it (And you will know it when you see it) please use that one to slam each other so this one stays as it was intended for.... discussions, pics of received/purchased cards for TOPPS PREMIER GOLD!!
Oh and FFS is anyone doing a case break?? I would scour back 14 screens but I CBF as it is all Futera waffle without Maple syrup. God dammit people
