The title during the count down said the top 500 songs of all time. Then at the end they say "we hope you enjoyed our (VH1) count dawn. So much for any credit to the count down. The only songs IMO that belong in the top 10 listed are the Queen, Led Zepplin & maybe the prince song (just).

That's a pretty ordinary result. I think Triple J's Best 100 Ever froma few years ago was a better reflection of public opinion. (Remember only 20% of the Australian population have Pay-TV and then which of that 20% actually voted. It could have been 5 people for all we know!!)
"Like a Prayer" is in no way Madonna's best song and "Born to Run" is in no way Bruce Springsteens best song.
Out of interest where did Throw your Arms around me by Hunters and Collectors come in?
