Shame such nice cards probably will never see the light of day. Hope u dont open the pack in 20-30yrs time only to find beiber cards inside.
I really only wanted u to open them cause ur sealed ones devalue my opened ones

After a close count I have decided to keep it sealed, I thought there was a chance at a Bradman Signature but multiple Cricket card collectors have told me they don't exist so that along with the fact that most of the people saying to keep it sealed are cricket card collectors has helped me decide to keep it sealed. As i mentioned above, I'll probably buy another pack down the track and bust one then.

let me see if I got this right..there's no signature....Bradmans been dead for some time now...cards from 1933 are worth $5 each so assuming he keeps it till another 77 years he may get a few dollars for it compared to if he put the money he spent on the pack into a super saver bank account he'd probably make more money? I say bust the f.....

Yeah I sorta thought it was obvious so I didn't spell it out but seeing you did...........Yes I want to keep the sealed pack as an investment and as part of my Bradman collection. Although they were FREE when you sent in the coupons there are not many sealed packs left nowdays

Awesome! Sir Donald Bradman was a BRILLIANT person! He signed everything that came his way!

I have a few personally signed letters from him, one of the highlights of my collection.

The Bradman packs I have mentioned in this thread did sell for up to $100ish a set when he passed (may he RIP) but they have settled at a reasonable price of about $35-40 now. I intend to get another if & when they pop up next!

Can you just imagine the volume of mail he must have received, even to the day he passed away?

I have four postcards signed by him, I remember being amazed that they actually came back as quick as they did.

However my absolute favourite item of cricket I have is the postcard that Australia Post released when Sir Don passed away. Not a long time after, Neil Harvey and Sam Loxton were conducting a speaking tour of Victoria (which I read about in the Sunday Age) and through their manager I managed to get three of the postcards signed, and dedicated to me, my Dad and a dear friend.

So can I do a "ten years ago" mailday? hahahaha

But its just a typed letter thanking me for my letter and his signature at the bottom on his own Bradman paper
The other one was not to me, I bought it at auction but is similar

I was lucky enough to get 3 signatures from him, the best was this beauty!

He also helped out our cricket club by signing a bat for us which we raffled off. We got his permission first and he was fine with it.

A true gentleman!
