Something to consider in that context is that Select are a specialist trading card company, they even sell they’re own top loaders etc now.I don't know anything about TLA but the fact that they didn't have a checklist up on their website surprised me to say the least. It's nothing like Select's website which is pretty slick.
When you start a fake account to annoy peopleAn Idea for a card design that I've always had is in some way like a 4 and 2 but its much easier to get its like a box hit. The set should be called Dynamic Duo and each card will like 2 players from a certain team, one being a forward and one being a back who work really well together. Like for Souths it could be Cody Walker and Cam Murray. In terms of the card design I have a few ideas in my head which I could try and make. It is just a insert type I have always thought would be cool.
Spot on unfortunately.I think that TLA needs to do quite a bit of soul searching as to the products it plans to put out in the future....... the challenge they need to meet is satisfying the old school collectors and also putting out something that will appeal to new collectors both at a market entry level and a higher end level.
The biggest failing they have had is that during an industry boom they haven't taken advantage of the huge influx of money into the card collecting industry (Select certainly have)....... instead of using this time to further build up the business, we simply get what we have always got and which is wearing out a lot of collectors and turning people away.
In card companies you need 2 things, integrity and some innovation...... im not sure they have either of that at present.
I had the eels -3.5 as the last leg on a decent multi , the tigers had me worriedLucky Leilua sig will do me nicely. Love him as a player. Massive young talent. Great game Tigers v Eels.

To be fair, the vast majority of collectors don’t use this website.
It could be just me or the fact I haven't found a good site but while Facebook may well be the preferred platform for most these days I really don't think it is well suited to collecting cards. It's primarily about the right here and now pretty much 2021 Traders and very little else, so if I am looking for a 2003 Scanlens retro set or a 1974 unmarked checklist I have very little hope of finding one as Facebook doesn't seem suited to people finding their wants it seems more about dealers selling boxes and individuals selling what they've just busted. Its all Facebook now. They needed somewhere before Facebook took over...
100 % correct. Very much for the here and now and hustle bustle world of box breaks etc. Hell, some people are so desperate to move cards they even photograph and price them in the car after a bust or take screen shots of a live break and list before a card is even in hand !!It could be just me or the fact I haven't found a good site but while Facebook may well be the preferred platform for most these days I really don't think it is well suited to collecting cards. Have a got it wrong?
Lie detector confirmed this is a lieMatt its not only TLA turning the collectors away its likes of moderators and collectors who continually bag the product and run it down that is also contributing to the decline of the hobby.
Why else do you think we hardly see any dealers advertising and/or selling on OZCARDTRADER any more.

Some pages are much better than others on FB but any trades I do on here, I generally feel much safer about. There are more bargains to be had on FB though. You can rest assured that at least once a week a new collector will have an emergency and need to dump their collection such as it is.
