Nets era (not mine) - #/100 / only ZO

and

Heat era (not mine, either) - #/25 / Alonzo Mourning ZO (instead # 33)

But there has been THE ONLY UNVEILED Alonzo Mourning UNIQUE INSCRIPTIONS !!

Why is this card so special ?

Exact name of this card and set is 2007-08 Ultimate Collection Ultimate Signatures (not Inscriptions)

One thing that is pretty simple when it comes to cards, if you've never seen it before and there is no reason for a card to be different then the others of the same set then stay away unless you do a lot of research. I'd be very surprised if that card is legit.

Sorry, but first thing I thought was is this legit? Even before Matt's post.

Look at the '3' in your card. It is very different to all the other 3's in the other cards.

For your card, the bottom loop is more angled down at first followed by a rounded loop. In the others, they are all straight followed by a letward going slant for the bottom loop.

Very very different 3's on yours compared to the others and the others all have the same sort of 3's.

Makes yours look like the odd one out of the 4 lots of 3's.

I would be suspicious.

But if it is not a fake then....... nice pickup!

That may be the fakest Mourning card I have ever seen. Before scrolling down to read the story and link to Blowout I thought ZO's kids must have signed one for fun. Well, coupled with my opinion before reading blowout I determine this is fake. Always stick to what you know. There is a '3' on that card written by Mourning (supposedly) -- not one Alonzo Mourning card I have signed has a 3 on it which looks like that.

as with ersk before matt posted i thought it would have to be a fake...looks like a fricken kindergarten kid wrote on it, mourning is touching 40, dude knows how to write like a grown up, he finished college and got an education and learned how to read and write, that card is BLATANTLY a fake, surprised you actually bid on it, you have so many cards a lot of years of collecting but couldnt tell that that was a fake????
